I can't answer that. I've never bought phone from AliExpress. Just small gadgets like earbuds, chargers and the likes

Another successful business with Noobody. Arrived Nigeria in 9 days but due to weekend and speedaf rerouting /delays took total shipping days to 13 days

House, help me o. This NCC wahala is getting out of hands .

I ordered a feature phone from AliExpress and got delivered on 14th October. Upon insertion of sim cards, i got sms notification that the phone is not NCC TYPE APPROVED and would be discontinued within 24hours. Lo and behold, sim cards stopped working on the phone again exactly post 24hours.

Most people that got the sms said theirs read 30 cummulative days but mine 24hours.

I contacted the seller and explained my plight, the seller JUST looked away ni. Though i have opened dispute for refund because this is worrisome and seller is telling me he/she can not refund. Though i rejected the the proposal response and i still stood my ground.

Called NCC, dropped d IMEIs and NCC customer representative said they have noted them and will get back to me but up til now, no show fa.....lol

Is there anyone in this shoe of mine?

Sorry to hear about your plight. It's a new development from NCC. Word has been going around for almost 2 weeks. So sadly, the seller has no fault in this and you may not get the refund.

Oh. Thanks for your response. I wasn't informed at all until the arrival of the phone. Should i say NCC public sensitization was not high enough.

Anyways, if i may ask, what did NCC now mean by saying: Contact Seller for Non NCC Type Phone?

That has always been the case for every promo like this. Both for UBA and Zenith. It's always restricted to cards with specific PAN numbers. That however is hardly and issue as they are cards we'll typically have.
