Isn't child labor illegal in Nigeria? Why are you still trying to punish your kids for your own mistakes? 😒😒

1. Have you listened to him and looked inward to ensure he is not, in fact, spitting facts at you? Also, sending a child away because you disapprove of his feelings is a form of punishment. Either you are lying to yourself about what you are attempting to do here, or you are feigning ignorance. Which is it?😒😒

2. Can you give us an example of what this childish behavior could be? 😒😒

A 15-year old boy. He's a growing teenager who needs his mother. Why would you want to give him away? You just want to confuse and ruin that boy's life. What sorta nonsense is that?

See the rubbish you're spitting. So the solution is to give him away? Ahnn ahnn. A responsible and loving parent would inquire further from him as to why he feels that way and make the changes needed so he can feel heard and loved by his mother, not send him away. He's 15, growing and probably going through hormonal changes like most 15-year olds. Perhaps change your parenting skills, ask about his dreams (what he wants to do with his life), be his friend but enforce healthy discipline when necessary. You don't just "give him out" like he's a nonentity, smdh. The fact that you want to "give him out" infers that you probably don't treat him well like he says. What a shame.

You have to open up on what really happened for us to make sense of what you are suggesting here. What exactly did he do? 😒😒

Lesson? You are not sending him off to boarding school or to military school. You are attempting to send him to some other family to use him for work. That is considered child labor, even in Nigeria.😒😒

Despite the many stories of how most of those aunties and other relatives turned out to be abusive and manipulative to the vast majority out there before? 😒😒

The mere fact that you considered it is the problem here. Your child is likely struggling with something. That your reaction was to consider sending him off to someone else to handle, knowing full well that most of us who were sent off to be raised in such a way up damaged by it, is the problem here. 😒😒

If you have changed your mind about sending him off, how do you now intend to resolve the friction between yourself and your son? 😒😒

Why get pregnant in the first place since you never intended on being a parent? Do people actually think deeply and make careful plans before getting pregnant and birthing children into this world in Nigeria?
