BATified2023:Tinubu got 70% of his votes from the North in 2023. He only won 4 Yoruba states out of 17 Southern states and lost even Lagos and Osun. The North made Tinubu president. |

favor914:You sef don sabi dem? Their divide & rule tactics did not work for them after Nigeria’s independence and certainly won’t work for them now. We know those who are hiding behind fictitious Hausa/Fulani and even Yoruba monikers on social media to push their futile agenda. |
| Re: Northern Groups Threaten To Teach Tinubu Lesson Of Awolowo In 1979, 1983 — by AMINDA: 6:21pm On Oct 11 |
CodeTemplar:OBJ enjoyed the total support of the Southsouth, Southeast, Southwest and middlebelt with a good share of some Northern PDP states. Tinubu doesn't. Over 70% of his votes came from the North and Obi will still defeat him again in the South, just like in 2023. |

| Re: Northern Groups Threaten To Teach Tinubu Lesson Of Awolowo In 1979, 1983 — by franchasng: 9:33pm On Oct 11 |
BATified2023:Buhari rigged Tinubu in based on the emotional blackmail that he helped him emerge President in 2015. Because of that, Northerners just overlooked and allowed Tinubu to be rigged in because they felt he was far better than Peter Obi an Igbo. Those sentiment no longer exist today, instead what exist in Nigeria today is a total resentment for Tinubu based on his woeful performance and tribalism in governance favoring mostly Yorubas alone |

franchasng: You analyze the situation clearly. Winning next election will only favour those of the south west. The northerners usually speak with one voice if they are determine to achieve a political goal. |

AMINDA:Same way the South West made President Buhari president twice, what's your point? Remember that President Buhari, like President Tinubu, were running unsuccessfully on separate platforms before they came to an agreement to join forces and started winning. The North did not do President Tinubu a favour, they are repaying the South West's favour, please detail the full picture. I don't have to be APC which I am not to see this |
| Re: Northern Groups Threaten To Teach Tinubu Lesson Of Awolowo In 1979, 1983 — by AMINDA: 7:15am On Oct 12 |
aswani:Tinubu fielded Ribadu and Atiku in the past, why didn't they win? Take away the Southwestern votes from Buhari’s tally in 2015 and he still would have garnered the highest votes cast. Tinubu simply saw an opportunity with the Northern exodus from the PDP in 2015 and took it by throwing his Southern brother under the bus. Elrufai went above and beyond to ensure that Northerners repaid Tinubu for his support in 2015. How was he repaid? Did Tinubu not take everything for himself after winning and practically chased out all existing CPC members from the APC? |
| Re: Northern Groups Threaten To Teach Tinubu Lesson Of Awolowo In 1979, 1983 — by aswani(m): 7:23am On Oct 12 |
AMINDA:Per the bolded, why didn't this happen when CPC stood on its own? El Rufai failed legislative security checks so couldn't be appointed as a minister, then he boasted about subverting the security of the top security person in the county, yet you expect him to be walking around freely because of some Fulani privilege. In a country like China, his relatives wouldn't be allowed to see his body after a quick trial and death sentence. |
| Re: Northern Groups Threaten To Teach Tinubu Lesson Of Awolowo In 1979, 1983 — by AMINDA: 7:31am On Oct 12 |
aswani:You mean Tinubu's Akpabio-led senate? Tinubu was not aware of all these when he was begging Elrufai to make him president during the campaigns and going everywhere with him including to Chatham house. Same way he betrayed Makinde after getting 450,000 votes from Oyo after Makinde did anti-party to support him. He is just a serial betrayer. If the 5.6m votes that Elrufai helped garner for Tinubu had gone to Atiku, will Tinubu have won the election? Don't forget that he won only 4 Yoruba states out of 17 Southern states. He was outrightly rejected in the South, including in Lagos, where he governed for 8 years and Osun, his state of origin. |
| Re: Northern Groups Threaten To Teach Tinubu Lesson Of Awolowo In 1979, 1983 — by aswani(m): 7:55am On Oct 12 |
AMINDA:The point stands, El Rufai failed Senate screening, he is neither the first nor would be the last. President Tinubu cannot and should not override such. Also regardless of what El Rufai has done for the government beforehand, admitting to subverting the country's security, especially one with huge terrorist issues like ours, should not be acceptable and thankfully isn't. As for the rest of your post, I answered it, The so called North are repaying a favour, it is only the right and proper thing to do. Betrayer or not, President Tinubu's party is the biggest in the country, and not even close, so maybe you are the one that needs to take a closer look at the paucity of your accusations. |

aswani:It's a waste of time. No be una again? Your tribesmen are already setting the tone for Umahi to fail his own security screening after the election or other flimsy reason. You all ain't beating the allegations. It's a way of life.

| Re: Northern Groups Threaten To Teach Tinubu Lesson Of Awolowo In 1979, 1983 — by aswani(m): 8:11am On Oct 12 |
AMINDA:You don't know what tribe I am as I haven't informed anyone and don't intend to as the information is not a necessity for posting on here. If Umahi fails his screening, tbats on him. Lots of people have passed and some will fail, all from various tribes. |
