The AAC presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, Omoyele Sowore has labelled the NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi a "packaged fraud", for what he says are underground moves by the failed former Anambra governor to become the Secretary to the Government of the Federation if the Presidential candidate of the ADC, Atiku Abubakar, wins the election. To this end, Sowore has revealed secret directives issued by Obi to his supporters to back Atiku Abubakar given the acute deficiency in support for the former vice president in the south of the country. This total lack of support for Atiku in the south puts his ambition in grave danger as it would deny him the mandatory 25% threshold in at least 24 states needed to cross the hurdle to victory.

If this is true, then this is a very strategic move by Peter Obi. It may also give credence to those who say Obi moving to the NDC was a strategy to outmanouve Tinubu and his desperate attempts to destroy all opposition platforms. We just may see a rekindling of the old Northern-Eastern Alliance in 2027 with power moving specifically to the Southeast in 2031. The coalition is still alive and never left. Game on!

The recent statement by Bishop Onaiyekan is also pregnant and is beginning to make sense. They may have advised Obi in private.
