It's so unfortunate. Anyone selling packaged poison disguised as alcohol is a murderer and should be treated as such. It is because govt handles such cases with little seriousness that they now want to sell a packaged fraud disguised as a messiah to us. Such audacity. |

Counterfeit or fake doesn't necessarily mean it's unhealthy. It's a criminal offence and the culprit should be prosecuted. However, Nafdac should go beyond rabble rousing and go after real but substandard products, adulterated products and unsafe products. |

You see, Fake Products Merchant, Bandits, Terrorists, Gun Runners, Kidnappers, False Rape Accusers, Rapists, Most Nigerian Politicians, Most Religious Leaders, Most Legal Practitioners, And sadly down to the average man on the street, most deserves to be executed once caught, forgiveness should be arranged once they have crossed to the other side, an eye for an eye in this case is the best for everybody. Call me brutal, wicked and the likes, tough measures are needed for us to purge our society of this bastards. |

Nigeria must declare war on fake and adulterated alcoholic drinks. People are dying, yet the government continues to spend billions treating preventable health problems, including kidney failure and other complications linked to toxic substances. Punish the perpetrators, not the public. Establish a strict licensing system for liquor distributors. Require clubs, hotels, retailers and other bulk buyers to purchase only from licensed, traceable suppliers. Conduct regular inspections, revoke licences, seize counterfeit products and prosecute offenders to the fullest extent of the law. With Detty December approaching, Nigeria cannot afford to gamble with the health of its citizens and the safety of international visitors. The consequences go beyond public health: one international health warning can damage tourism, investor confidence and Nigeria’s reputation. Mr President, order the appropriate ministries to stop treating the symptoms while criminals poison the people. Regulate the supply chain, enforce the law and hold those responsible accountable. Protect lives before the world stops trusting what Nigeria serves. |
