Just wanted to ask a serious question to everyone here. If someone takes retired/decommissioned public buses and completely transforms the inside into secure, clean rooms—offering a "Bus Airbnb/Hotel" that is way cheaper than OYO or standard guest houses... WOULD YOU ACTUALLY SPEND YOUR MONEY AND SLEEP IN IT? Please reply with your honest thoughts: 1. YES, I would use it. (If yes, please tell me WHY? Is it purely to save money, or do you like the unique vibe?) 2. NO, I wouldn't. (If no, what is your biggest reason? Is it security, heat/AC, toilets, or comfort?) I'm genuinely curious if this kind of low-cost accommodation concept can actually work for travelers and moving people in Nigeria. Let's talk! |

The main thing is safe, gated location, iron door, budget friendly and roomy enough for those with families. Outward esthethic look will make it more appealing. Creative, innovative. |

Security na the whole matter. If you park am inside a gated compound with light and a guard, people go try am, especially those wey just need one night before early flight or bus. Toilet and bathroom na the first thing I go check sha. How much you dey plan to charge per night? |

Die that business idea In early nineties and twenties it would have been a glorious business idea but in this currently apc government, where insecurity nah water. You'd just waste your startup funds. Best bet is to go to nearby Africa countries with a relatively strong security and start such beautiful idea. Ideas 💡 just won burst my head lyk dis. Get retired buses 🚌 14 sitters, lorries 🚚 , luxurious and 20 and 40 fit containers on a 10-20 hectares of land. Offer both motel and tenancy services with adequate security, electricity, water and sporting facilities. Then the killer of all. Run a school there and the wickedest idea 💡is to run a church ⛪ too. My head ooo 🔥📛. Pour me water 💧 |

If the bus is parked inside a secured environment, then I can use it. You can't park it under bridge or in the garage of 'owo mi da' and expect me to use it. I don't want to end up having my organs harvested. |

It will be nice deal if the location can be secured. Personally won't mind spending the night in one as long as the beddings are fine. It is just like the caravan buses used mostly in Europe for travelling round the country. It will be way cheaper than even a budget hotel. |

It's a very fantastic initiative to look into to serve as a way to ease burden of rent accross the state. But I think the issue here is SECURITY/PRIVACY and nothing 😕 |

Omoh. Just do 2-3 rooms with bunk beds and house rules. Charge daily/weekly/monthly. There is alot to factor in for this old bus idea to work. Goodluck. |

Good Thinking, Creative, Innovative and Good Incentives instead of allowing the buses to spoil more under the rain and sun. But No I will not. You need to consider security first, availability of source of electricity. Remember, space matters here. You can as well get make use of 20/40feet containers to build such Innovation on a piece of land well fenced and gated. You will lad the whole containers, windows and doors are not left out. Rooms, kitchen and toilets. Solar panels may be used as roofs on the containers. Holla your guests, or short lets are set. |

I would sleep in it if I'm on adventure ,however ,besides security, cost wise to developers might not be wise . Because to develop it ,you will spend a lot on land let alone designing it . |
