There is something fishy going on here.....why is it that out of the top 5 projected growth rate, it's only Nigeria that it only exists on paper because there is nothing that indicates that everything is going in the right direction over here. |

Nigeria is not a producing country, beyond the refinery, it's a country that relies on the income it gets from oil to have something of a economy...and when the oil price is high, things look good. Tinubu supporters who are rejoicing over the IMF statistics, should go back in time to 2015, and listen to tinubu acolyte Osibanjo speaking about what APC would do, and should compare it with what is happening to day, and then ask themselves the honest question...has it been as was planned? |

Mattswaggz:Growth projections is not economic development rate or level. Growth projection is about the potential in an economy. Itโs a useful data and information for would be investors. Have you asked yourself why India is topping the list? |
| Re: IMF Growth Forecast (2026) by Efuaye(m): 11:11am On Oct 14 |
It's simply a forecast to raise hope for Nigerians that their man is doing a nice job after he has shattered the lives of many with his voodoo economic policies proffered by them. |

IMF itself is a scam, Tinubu has bribed every aspect of the world to manipulate every data to make him look good, but back at home he's a disaster, even he bribe NL to ban anyone who speaks against tinubu, that's how bad things has gone |

Growth forecast from the current state, Growth that is completely disconnected from reality on the ground. No forecast for when ordinary Nigerians will get back to the pre-APC inflicted poor standard of living? |

Mattswaggz:. First you cannot be blind and expect to see, secondly, you have to understand basic economics to also see the potential. All economic indicators point to a very good economy that will eventually trickle down to the common man. If economy is terrible at the top, the common man will never feel anything. Once the top economic factors are chugging along, then economy at the lower end will also improve. More so, after the election and Tinubu wins, all thsse noise about hunger will disappear. I'm sure that you will find another hit topic to promote. |

How can Nigeria grow by 4.2 % when it has a huge debt it has to service? How can the level of water in a bucket raise if there's a hole in its bottom that's letting out more water that's coming in? |
| Re: IMF Growth Forecast (2026) by Hez143(m): 11:52am On Oct 14 |
