You forgot to mention that Umahi invited a traditional leader to the foot of the Bridge and commissioned it by cutting a ribbon. There are even plans to rename the bridge after Tinubu.

I'm still repeating it,
What this man did there was a bad idea and who ever living in asaba and Onitsha knows what I'm saying,
U divided the bridge road whc is not wide enough unlike the 2nd niger bridge,if any car breaks down, that's the total end of that lane,
Adding additional weight to a spring bridge with shock-absubver,
God forbid a truck is on fire on that bridge, both lanes maybe totally close

A novice who doesn't know about Nigeria would think that Tinubu and the APC built this first Niger bridge.

A simple renovation work is what these imps are hyping. Wonders shall never end.

Bridge that is 61 years old, Umahi did minor renovations and started cutting ribbons, calling it commissioning. Na wa for Nigeria!

Gen Z from another State on hearing this, would think Tinubu built a new bridge.

I just renovated and repainted the rickety, almost collapsing, 60-year-old house my grandfather bequeathed to me.

Kindly join me in the celebrations and give me my flowers.

Iku kprai APC and her sympathizers.

That influencer that poster the video of the bridge is really carried away and overexcited the other twitter poster that claimed tinibu govt is favouring igboland more than any region in nigeria is really out of his mind. That first niger bridge renovation won't even cost up to #5b compared to the trillions tinibu has spent in several federal projects in lagos.

This money should have been invested in a brewery business.
Tinubu no Sabi good governance, a brewery in which he has financial interest would have been much better option.
Who needs roads, airports and other capital projects.
Common man just need to get drunk with plenty of rice and chicken.
