There's nothing to hype about Muhammed because he's just an ordinary person like me. |

AntiChristian:Do you mean when Isa comes, he will not come as a prophet? If Yes, then tell us what he'll be coming back as. If he'll be coming back as the prophet he was when he first came, then can you explain by what Islamic logic Muhammad remains the final messenger when another prophet is coming after him? Can you quote the quranic verse that says Isa will follow the Qur'an and no longer the injeel when he comes back? What do you mean by buried as a Muslim? Are you saying Isa was not a Muslim when he came before? If Isa is coming back as a prophet then it's obvious that he's the final messenger of Islam peace be upon him as we await his final coming |

AntiChristian:Moses was followed by his people till he died and was replaced by Joshua. His people did not continue insisting on Moses's way being the only way after his death Noah was not followed by his people. They rejected him which is why God killed them by the flood saving only his immediate family Besides you did not answer the questions why Muslims are commanded to follow Muhammad if they want to follow Allah. No other prophet got such a command in his favour in the Qur'an except Muhammad |

GreenCovering:Your authentic Hadith thinks otherwise Sahih al-Bukhari (Hadith 3448): Prophet Muhammad stated that Jesus, the son of Mary, will descend to Earth as a just ruler (Hakam), breaking the cross, killing the swine, and abolishing the Jizya (tax on non-Muslims). Oppss my bad. Jesus is not a prophet. He is God. |

DeepSight:Blaspheming and speaking ill of Allah doesn't attract a death penalty, but questioning the excesses of Mohammed is blasphemy and worthy of death. What insanity. |
| Re: Overpraising The Prophet ﷺ In Islam! by DeepSight(m): 11:50am On Oct 16 |
IsraeliAIRFORCE:Gemini Says: The claim that Islamic law distinguishes between speaking ill of Allah and questioning the Prophet Muhammad in a way that excuses the former while executing for the latter does not accurately reflect traditional Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh). In classical Islamic law, blasphemy against Allah (sabb Allah) and blasphemy against Prophet Muhammad (sabb al-rasul) are both treated as grave capital offenses, though traditional schools of law differ on procedural mechanics such as repentance and state enforcement. 1. Traditional Islamic Legal Stance (Fiqh) In traditional Sunni and Shia jurisprudence, blaspheming Allah and insulting the Prophet Muhammad are viewed with equal or near-equal gravity, as both strike at the foundational core of the faith. Blasphemy Against Allah (Sabb Allah): Classical consensus across the four Sunni legal schools (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali) considers insulting Allah to be an act of absolute disbelief (kufr). Under traditional penal codes (hudud or ta'zir), it carries the death penalty for a Muslim offender (treated as apostasy) and, in many classical opinions, for a non-Muslim residing in Islamic territory if it violates their covenant. In the Hanafi school, an individual who repents from blaspheming Allah is granted an opportunity to recant, which commutes the capital sentence. Blasphemy Against Prophet Muhammad (Sabb al-Rasul): Insulting or disparaging the Prophet is likewise considered a capital crime by classical jurists. Major legal scholars, such as Ibn Taymiyyah (in his treatise Al-Sarim al-Maslul 'ala Shatim al-Rasul), argued that while an offense against Allah involves a "Right of God" (Haqq Allah)—which God may forgive if the offender repents—an offense against the Prophet involves a "Right of Man" (Haqq al-'Abd). Because the Prophet is no longer alive to grant personal forgiveness, scholars like those in the Maliki and Hanbali schools argued that repentance does not automatically commute the worldly capital punishment administered by the state. This distinction in classical legal theory regarding whether the death penalty could be commuted by repentance is often where the perception arises that insulting the Prophet is treated more strictly than insulting Allah. 2. The Quranic and Reformist Counter-Perspective Modern Islamic scholars, reformists, and human rights advocates dispute the classical legal justification for any state-enforced capital punishment for speech offenses: Absence of Capital Punishment in the Quran: The Quran explicitly mentions people mocking Allah, His revelations, and His prophets, but it nowhere prescribes a worldly death penalty or physical legal punishment for blasphemy. Instead, it instructs believers to show patience, avoid sitting with mockers, or leave judgment to God in the afterlife (e.g., Quran 4:140, 6:68, 73:10). Historical Context of Execution Orders: Scholars who oppose blasphemy laws note that historical incidents where the Prophet ordered executions involved individuals who committed acts of treason, espionage, or active warfare against the early Medina state during wartime, rather than mere verbal dissent or theological questioning. 3. Societal Impact and Legal Realities From the standpoint of social outcomes, legal stability, and human well-being: State-Sanctioned Violence vs. Free Inquiry: Capital laws against blasphemy—whether aimed at protects of divine authority or prophetic reverence—create systemic harm. They suppress open intellectual discourse, inhibit historical inquiry, and generate widespread fear, which hinders the overall intellectual and social progress of a society. Vulnerability to Abuse: Severe blasphemy laws are frequently weaponized by states, extremist factions, or individuals to settle personal disputes, target religious minorities, suppress political opposition, and bypass due process. Mob Violence and Public Order: The enforcement or perception of blasphemy laws often catalyzes extrajudicial killings, vigilante violence, and civil unrest. Decoupling critical speech and theological questioning from capital punishment promotes public safety, preserves human life, and fosters social cohesion. |

Kukutente23:Intercession is a plea for Mercy from God, it is not a transfer of sins. It is asking for Divine Grace and not bearing of sins. That is the core logic you are missing. Only the Holy Prophet Muhammad will be permitted by God Almighty to make this request on the Day of Judgment. |

Rashduct4luv:Odd from the opening sentence. How does (not that he is, even in Islam) being the final messenger make you the highest ranking of creation - clear overpraise right there .If as claimed he is a man like all other men and men are mere slaves, does that mean that slaves are the best the ee'slam.ic god could do? ![]() GreenCovering:What makes him holy? What does ee'slam define as holy? How does one who is not omnipotent know the state or deeds of each individual in order to make intercession for them. Interesting riff on the role of the Lord Jesus Christ as High Priest, who knows all things and lives forever Hebrews 7 24 But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Therefore He is also able to save [h]to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. 26 For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; 27 who does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for His own sins and then for the people’s, for this He did once for all when He offered up Himself. The depths of the Christian scriptures, the coverage, the detail, the outworking, the prophecy, the fullness. All day, every day. TV |

GreenCovering:You can only intercede for others when you're without sin yourself. Your fellow sinner cannot intercede on your behalf. To intercede is to take your place. So in summary, if Islam teaches that no one can bear the sins of another, how then can there be an intercessor. And how come only Muhammad is holy in Islam? |
| Re: Overpraising The Prophet ﷺ In Islam! by TV01(m): 1:51pm On Oct 16 |
Kukutente23:Keen to see how this is explained. The holes in the text means narratives have to be built to shore the beliefs up. But they rarely tie-out or make sense. Isa is the sinless one in ee.slam, why doesn't he intercede? How can a sinner, who requires intercession on his own behalf, intercede for another? Kukutente23:Even keener, for their definition\understanding of "holiness" to be addressed. TV |

Kukutente23:This is because Joshua followed in Moses's way. Or was Joshua given his own ten commandments? Noah was not followed by his people. They rejected him which is why God killed them by the flood saving only his immediate familyBy his people, i mean those who believed in him whether you regard them as his family or otherwise! Besides you did not answer the questions why Muslims are commanded to follow Muhammad if they want to follow Allah. No other prophet got such a command in his favour in the Qur'an except MuhammadWe follow Muhammad since he is the one Allah sent to us. Those who followed Jesus before Muhammad too are regarded as Muslims. Same as those who followed Moses, Noah, and others in truth till they die. |

AntiChristian:The ten commandments are universal not peculiar to Moses. That they were given through Moses does not make them become his. Or have you ever heard the Jews or Christians call the Ten commandments, Moses ten commandments? There are a lot of things that Joshua did as Prophet that was not commanded by Moses. One was giving the 2 tribes of Joseph land on the other side of the Jordan. Moses actually commanded the children of Israel to enter Canaanland but Joshua gave the land to Mannasseh and Ephraim when they asked for it. Also, the temple in Jerusalem did not exist during the time of Moses. It came during the time of Solomon. However, the Levitical and Judaic laws were the laws given by Moses but implemented after him by other prophets, judges, kings and scribes. None of them deviated from Moses' laws including David whom you erroneously claim was given a different book from the Torah. Only Muhammad claimed to be a prophet in the Judaic line but had his own laws and religion different from that given by Moses! As for Noah, there is nothing in the Bible that suggests his family believed him to be a prophet. They obeyed him as the head of the family. Trying to equate that to mean he was sent to his family as prophet is total rubbish. If your quran claims Noah was sent as a prophet to his wife and children that's not biblical belief. He was sent to people who did not believe him and thus perished. That's the position of the Bible. You have still not answered why only those who followed Muhammad are believed to truly follow Allah. Islam met Christianity and Judaism. Judaism is the religion of Moses. Christianity is the religion of Jesus. So why do you insist that only those who follow Muhammad are following Allah. Are you saying those who followed the religion of Moses did not follow Allah? |

AntiChristian:That is why he is the final messenger of Islam. Isa is coming back. And when he comes back as a prophet, are you going to receive him as a prophet of Islam or as a prophet of Christianity? Of course Isa is a prophet of Islam. He is coming after Muhammad as a prophet of Islam so he is the final messenger. This is logical to anyone who is not blinded by Islamic logic where the shoe must fit even if it is on the wrong foot! Your claim is like saying Biden is the latest president of the US because Trump was President before Biden! Islamic logic sha |
