🇨🇦 NIGERIAN MAN FACES D€P0RT@TI0N FROM CANADA DESPITE HAVING A CANADIAN WIFE AND THREE CHILDREN

The immigration ordeal of Olukunle Adetunji has brought renewed attention to the difficult realities some families face under Canada's immigration system.

According to reports, Adetunji faced immigration detention in 2016–2017 and was released in July 2017. At the time, his wife, Kimora, and their three children were Canadian citizens, while his application for permanent residence on humanitarian and compassionate grounds remained outstanding.

Now, a CityNews report published on October 14, 2026, says he is facing d€p0rtation from Canada despite repeated attempts to regularize his immigration status.

His case raises difficult questions about family unity, immigration procedures, and the challenges faced by people seeking permission to remain in Canada.

Canada to deport Nigerian activist after 14 years

A Nigerian migrant rights leader, Olukunle Adetunji, is set to be deported by the Canadian authorities despite many attempts to regularise his status.

The Nigerian who has been freed from immigration detention in Canada for almost a decade could be deported to Nigeria over illegal stay.

A Canadian media platform, City News, reported on Wednesday that Adetunji said his planned deportation by the North American country was considered “worse than being behind bars.”

He visited Canada in 2012 and decided to stay, married his wife, Kimora, in 2014.

Adetunji was deported to Nigeria the same year and remained there for two years until he allegedly returned to Canada in 2016 by illegal means.

He and his wife decided he would apply to stay in Canada on compassionate grounds and they could finally be together again but the authorities arrested him.

He was initially detained at the Maplehurst Correctional Centre for about a month, then to Lindsay for a few months, then to a facility in Scarborough and finally to Toronto’s Immigration Holding Centre.

He was later released trying to regularise his status but the news of his deportation was shared recently.

“I’ve been taken away from my three boys. I made them promise that I’d never leave them. And, for me to break that promise is…I don’t know, I can’t break that promise,” Adetunji said.

As the Canadian authorities prepared to send him back to Nigeria, Adetunji claimed that he had no family in his home country.

“I have no ties with Nigeria. I don’t have a place to stay. It’s like a death sentence,” he added.

There is a history behind this man and it has nothing to do with Tinubu.

Olukunle "Olu" Adetunji first came to Canada from Nigeria in 2012. Not long after, he met his wife Kimora and her two kids.

"When they first met him, before we were married or anything, they loved him because he's like a big kid," Kimora told Out in the Open host Piya Chattopadhyay. And so, Adetunji moved in and the couple got married.
Adetunji was deported while Kimora was pregnant with the couple's first child together. His claim for refugee status had been denied, as was a pre-removal risk assessment that followed the initial deportation order. But with Kimora on doctor-prescribed bed rest during her pregnancy, Adetunji had not left Canada.

And so, in 2016, Adetunji was deported back to Nigeria.

In 2016, Adetunji returned by illegal means. The pair decided he would apply to stay in Canada on compassionate grounds and they could finally be together again — that was the plan anyway.
It all came to a screeching halt one day when the couple was driving in Toronto.

"They ambushed us, a whole bunch of unmarked cars ... surrounded us and they chased us down the street," Kimora Adetunji recalled. "They told him to get on the ground, pulled out guns, we didn't know who it was."

Of all the things you can say about this situation, why this?

No wonder we have useless leaders looters emerging from our midst to ruin our country such that we are doing japa to beg oyinbo people to recolonise us.

Do you know what agential integrity and personal responsibility means huh

anonimi:
Neo-black Problem: Must Blacks Be Ruled by Whites in Order to Prosper?

In short, the neo-black dilemma may be framed as follows: is it better to live under white rule without political dignity but with basic life-sustaining standards for many;

or to live under black rule with illusory political dignity and without basic life- sustaining standards for the majority?
@
@
The path forward for Africa lies in cultivating higher and adequate levels of personal and communal agential integrity as well as full personal responsibility and productivity. Not to mention creativity (including epistemic creativity), productive justice (such as merit and freedom), harmony and reconciliation at local and international levels, and a proper domestication of capitalism and other related values and institutions.

Africa must stop wasting her time on dreams of socialism because it is a system of wealth distribution primarily. Whereas, capitalism is a system of wealth creation primarily, and wealth has to be produced before it can be distributed.

This is what happens when you try to do mago mago to get things fast and easy. Since 2012, he should have been a citizen by now if he followed the proper route.

2012 moved as a visitor, then overstayed his visa.
2014 deported, 2016 went back illegally and trying to get assylum instead of a work permit.

He’s probably a burden to his wife and she wants him gone anyways. He better leaves voluntarily, I doubt he can go back if he gets deported.
