Very correct. It is dangerous to move kidnapped victims across the forest and farms lands without being seen. Any delay in closing ransom collection makes it a suicide mission. Unlike the Orire kidnap that took a month plus, it is extremely dangerous to do same in the East.

How you will just sit down wherever you are and comfortably say that no single kidnapper or bandit or terrorist operating in the north have not been arrested just exposed you'd deciet

Over 1,000 bandits/terrorists have been duly charged to court by this current abdninteation and duly convicted and are serving lengthy sentences.

Tens more have been eliminated by military action involving air bombardments of their camps.

And why should what happens in the north be if any concern to you ?

If the security guys are eliminating terrorists and criminals in your SE that should be of utmost importance to you guys .

The security issues in the North is a major concern to me because it's affecting my business. I have cancelled a business contract in Kebbi because of security. I have stopped moving goods to Kotangora in Niger state because of insecurity, I am at the verge of cancelling another contract in Gombe because of insecurity. Once I tell my potential client that I can only move by air, there is 50% chance that the job will be cancelled.

Due to the nature of my business, I have been nursing the idea of having a second residence in Jos but any time I consider how often I will be on the road to Jos, fear grips me and i jettison the idea. A colleague in Calabar, rented a warehouse in Kano, she has never sent goods to the warehouse because of the increased risk of travelling to Kano by road for routine check on the business. In few months, the rent will expire and that outlet will become a thing of the past.

Now, you see why I am concerned about the security in the North and Nigeria at large. There is no place in the East and South I cannot travel to, both in the day and night by road.

My concern has nothing to do with whether I am grateful to the current government or not. I am only encouraging the security outfits to do more to restore the confidence of Nigerians, most especially those in the southern part of the country when it comes to travelling to the North either for business or leisure.
