I don't know what happened between them, but I have observed that most polygamous and promiscuous Nigerian men are quick to deny and abandon their children, if they are not in good terms with their mothers.

So many men have kids outside wedlock which they know about, but they don't care about these kids. It's insane to treat your kids differently regardless of whether they were born outside wedlock or not.

It is not always as you see it or think.
When you hear the stories behind most of this abandonment you will be surprised.
For the son to come and beg he must ot might have learnt the truth the hard way.

I lost my dad at age 10 and I wish he is here. But some father are treating there own son anyhow. You will overcome by God grace. Try talk to his pastor's or close friend so they can help talk to him. Also try be calling his every week.... Don't give up just keep trying and you will win the battle.

Family matters is a big no for me but the grass is always greener on the other side, if you're in doubt ask the farmers who put in the work.

From my findings the man doesnt seem like a responsible 1st child and not sure he is doing well for himself either so the intentions behind the reconciliation cannot be gurantted as sincere or else his father would have forgiven him.
