A fake red palm oil factory has been busted.

They were mixing colouring agents and chemicals to produce counterfeit palm oil — the kind that ends up in markets and kitchens.

The video shows a dug pit filled with bright red liquid and people dumping jerrycans into it while a crowd watches.

Several kegs of palm oil were seen being destroyed with the help of some locals. The kegs were burst open one by one with a cutlass, and their contents were poured into the pit before the empty kegs were thrown into it.

Although the exact location of the incident has not been confirmed, information reaching us suggests that it happened in Ogun State. NAFDAC's involvement has not yet been independently confirmed.

This is pure wickedness. People are literally poisoning food for profit.

Food safety should never be this optional.

The government should arrest the criminals and put them inside the dig ground and cover them all.

Heartless people, they should face the full wrath of the law.

I suggest death sentence as a penalty if anyone caught producing fake consumable goods

I mean, you are killing somebody already because of your fake product

Go to the hospital and see numbers of cancer, failed kidney and liver all because of fake consumable products

Rich men in diaspora that are coming home to celebrate this Christmas should better avoid any drink in Nigeria

As it stands now, one way or the other we have all consumed or used these fake products.....

Most Nigerians, greed is just their default settings

Chris Ngige as labour minister under Buhari was told about the need to help retain doctors, but this man literally told them to keep going that we have enough doctors at home. A medical doctor himself oo. Very crazy minister of labour.

Mr peter obi will soon react or condemn the discovery and arrest by nafdac

Can they make it a point of urgency to start putting rope around the neck of these fake food and drugs producers. These guys are mass Murderers. An armed robber can only kill one two or 5 victims at a time, these guys kills hundreds and thousands at a time

our laws dont prescribe detering penalties for some of theae crimes

Stop voting into government establishment people. People who grew and developed on this corrupt system. They cannot wield the big stick on society because society made them.

Vote into office people that don't have public baggage, people the public basically donot particularly like or idollze so when he or she throws them into jail it will be entirely expected.

Firing squad is much needed for people that engage in this. 💯

Death sentence or a lifetime in jail is required for these heartless criminals.

Hope NAFDAC or the food security ministry are checking on the itinerant sisi alagbos (herbal drink hawkers) and agbo jedi mobile marketers. The earlier the better,
