Without resource control by state or regions, this wont even survive! The resource control should be the key like done in saner climes

Regionalism is a step by step, you don't jump into it while the other part of the country who are the majority is totally not in support.

Resources control is the major problem of regionalism in Nigeria,and the same resources is the reason why we are together today. Utill the states are giving autonomy on at least 85% policies, you can't bring resources control into discussion.

While there is nothing bad in tribalism, it is parochial thought processes like yours that have kept Nigeria in the doldrums for all these years. You can imagine if Nigeria deploys its human assets in their area of comparative or even absolute advantage and all of us benefitting from individual and collective maximisation of strengths

Now, as I told you before, everything is tribal, doctors are a tribe, engineers are a tribe, nurses are a tribe, Igbo tribe, Hausa tribe, Yoruba tribe, Tiv tribe etc.,so there is nothing bad in anyone being tribal in outlook. Everyone wants their own person whom they can relate with to be closest to them or as their chief.

But you can imagine if instead of considering lineal tribal affiliations we always choose the best man for the job, anywhere and everywhere, do you think that Nigeria would be in such a mess as we are today?

USA is practicing the same presidential and federal system of government we are practicing, but each states in the united have almost what the federal government have except for military, immigration, custom and some other things but they have their own constitution,police force, highway patrol and many others.
