Any decentralization amendment that doesn't give 'autonomy' to the policing structure is a disaster waiting to happen. |

immaculatesense:I don’t like Tinubu like that . However that man is an action man . He goes for his beliefs without taking prisoners . That man is something else . 1. Removed subsidy on his first day. Subsidy that all the candidates promised to remove ( Buhari had already removed it though but lacked the leadership to effect it) 2. Built up our foreign reserves and gave state government more money than ever before ( seyi makinde confirmed it ) 3. Removed IGP Egbetokun because he was against state police and now he has achieved it. 4. Good infrastructural development ( I dislike the money spent on coastal road sha ) 5. Education loan to students 6. Brought back sanity to our financial sector 7. Really trying for our armed forces ( the corruption there has always been crazy sha ) There are some key sectors that are neglected and they can improve . I voted Obi last election but I can now see he is just another politician without plans . I am not voting for any of them in 2027….unless I see one that is better . |

Why has the home State of Mr President - Lagos not supported the bill? Irrespective of the reasons, it is bad optics. |

Ahmeduana:Tinubu need it badly to prove that he is working. Without state governors controlling the resources and the infrastructure in their respective states. States police is dead on Arrival. If Tinubu is serious, let him sign a bill on resources control and full decentralization of power. |

No president made it a priority Off course, Late Buhari didn't even consider it a necessity because it would hand states the needed authority to go after land grabbers called herdsmen who had his total support since he said there was grazing route that needed to be revisited across the length and breath of Nigeria and not ranching chinchum: |
