Both are good. Airtel is cheaper and offers good speeds when the network is working well, but it can experience days of downtime. The price is 25,000, or 22,500 when you pay with SmartCash. Customer service is quick to respond, but they might not be able to resolve your problem.

In summary, when Airtel is good, it is really good, but when it is bad, it is bad. Lately, complaints have reduced. I stopped using Airtel, but from what I have heard, they have fixed some of their network issues.

As for MTN, it is good, but it costs an extra 5,000. There is no fair usage policy, and any downtime may last less than an hour, although I have personally never experienced any downtime. Airtel is better for downloads, but MTN is also excellent.

For console gamers playing COD, neither is ideal. Airtel might be slightly better, but MTN is not great for gaming either. I have tested both myself.

In conclusion, check the network performance in your area, as that should determine your choice. However, note that MTN 4G can perform well in areas where 5G is unavailable.

To me, since they are stationary devices and you can get them cheaply from ISPs, unlocking is probably not critical at this point. What should be more important is knowing which of the networks is better in your area. You will know by asking friends in your area. Your neighbours.

I want to get it for someone so he can be using the MTN unlimited data plan, but instead of buying both MTN and Airtel ODU, we need only one.

Do you have a way of getting the ODU SIM Cards without buying both Airtel and MTN? If yes, then you should get the SIM cards and buy any of the unlocked ODUs if and only if it's guaranteed to work with the other sim when unlocked. If not, you may buy X25 pro and unlock it via paragon and be particular about the firmware that has the feature to tweak IMEI.

It's noteworthy that being unlocked is not a guarantee that it's going to work with the other ODU SIM Card.

My advice is that you buy the two ODUs. Buy one and use for one month. Buy the other one and use for the next month and then decide for yourself. Based on current testimonies, if you want to buy only one, you may buy MTN as people say it's more stable. Complaints exist but very few for now.

these things cost 25k and 30k respectively. Why try to unlock it when the said amount can buy you just a different device entirely. Some things aren't worth the stress

It should be unlimited for the three months, ideally. If they cap it at 1TB, then it has to be 3TB for the three months.

I have been using and not taking a count. Airtel has been really good, great I should say.

Its been 3 days now, my airtel ODU will have network full green bar but i can't access Internet, i have reseted more than i can remember same shit ,i have message them on twitter, problem persist. I am in benin city, has anybody experinced this kind of shit ? If yes how did u resolve it

they said it's 1TB but I don't believe that. I have been using MTN since this month and I don't have any downtime or anything. I have been streaming and downloading heavily. All I have done is just about 800gb and it's almost three weeks. Meanwhile Airtel cut me off within two weeks

Is the network 5G or 4G? Are you locked on 5GNSA only?

Try band lock to 1,dough i don't have full network bah on it ,its manageble for browsing small small. Dough i don't think i can download with it yet ooo.send message with it now
