Are Igbos Tribalistic?” A Yoruba Man Drops a Political Bombshell!. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QTP84TxQ8SU Are Igbos really tribalistic, or is there more to Nigeria's political voting history than many people realise? A Yoruba man has sparked an important debate about ethnicity, elections, and political loyalty in Nigeria. In this Chinick TV political analysis, we examine the argument about how voters in the South-East have supported different presidential candidates across several election cycles. Why do some Nigerians describe support for Peter Obi in the 2023 election as tribalism? Should the same standard apply to every region and every political candidate? This discussion goes beyond ethnic labels. We look at voting patterns, political consistency, national unity, and the importance of judging political support by evidence rather than stereotypes. Watch the video to the end and tell us what you think: Is supporting a candidate from your ethnic group automatically tribalism? If you believe Nigeria needs issue-based politics, accountable leadership, and a New Nigeria, join the conversation respectfully. Subscribe to Chinick TV for Nigerian political analysis, Peter Obi updates, NDC discussions, election commentary, and breaking political developments. Share this video and leave your opinion in the comments. Disclaimer: This video presents political commentary and analysis. Historical voting figures should be checked against official election records, and regional voting patterns alone cannot establish the motives of individual voters. #PeterObi #NigerianPolitics #AreIgbosTribalistic |

Adetinubu:Igbos are progressive, independent, resilient, creative, innovative, spiritual, industrious, and accommodating. Tribal, but not bigots. |

The problem of the Igbo man or the so called Igbo question is simply the Igbo man is perfectly what the first to comment described them. We don't subscribed to what the corrupt system feels is the right opinion about that Nigerian state. We are independently minded. |

King for tribalism for voting for Asiwaju Tinubu? Or because Pa Awolowo sent your longer throat, Azikwe away from trying to capture Yoruba land? Thank you for reminding us this again. Now you can go back to your sleep. Curious345: |

Right from pre and post independence, Nigeria politics have toed ethnic lines. It baffles me any election year Igbos vote their brother, they are labelled as tribal by the most visible tribal people. |

Adetinubu:Thank you for that observation, Omo iya mi. .. Igbos are the least clannish people when it comes to election voting pattern. Since 1999, there are Igbo contestants, but Igbos prefered to give their votes en bloc to Yoruba, Fulani, Ijaw contestants. The first time they ever gave their votes to an Igbo man was just yesterday to Peter Obi, who is eminently qualified, non-corrupt and more competent than the other fraudulent fella who cannot provide his primary and secondary certificates, and has a previous of illicit drug pushing. Madridguy, flokii, parachoko, ramdeuter. Vote PO and help your lineage to see a better Nigeria where you will not have to buy fuel for N5,000 per liter and cement for 24,000 per bag. |

Dalohad:How many people witness a better anambra during Peter obi tenure. Same Peter anambra people swear it will never happened again. Well there is nothing tribalism can't change. |

garykoeman:Tribalism? Someone vote your yoruba tribe, voted Fulani, voted Ijaw. Suddenly he was a good incorruptible candidate from his tribe, he decides to vote, you started pointing fingers accusing him of tribalism? ![]() Why is it your intent to vote a Tinubu that has made Nigerians eat maggot-infested tomatoes in Lagos? Why are you intent on voting for a Tinubu that has made fuel more that 300% higher than it was 5 years ago? And projected to make fuel N5,000 per litre? Why Tinubu that has sworn to raise taxes beyond limit while minimum wage can't buy a bag of rice? Why Tinubu who has previous history of drug pushing? Why Tinubu that has refused to tell Nigerians where he did his primary and secondary school? Why Tinubu that had sworn to rig elections if Nigerians don't vote for him? Use your tongue to count your teeth. Peter Obi is far better and more incorruptible than Tinubu the corruption master and you know it. But ethnic hatred no gree you talk true. ![]() |

Tribalistic is even an understatement.. how many non-Igbos in the South East can you point to that are prosperous?.. they won't allow them sell in their markets, they don't sell lands to Yoruba or Hausa but they are in other people's lands engaging in real estate and buying lands without hindrance, but somehow they are the ones being marginalized and what they are doing to others is perfectly okay. Our demand is simple.. we want restructuring and stronger regional autonomy in order for us to be prosperous. Western region had TV Stations even before France, I'm sure by now, Yorubas would have been building spaceships and sending astronauts to space if not for the enemies who don't want our progress. |

Na big lie. They have been voting for PDD all the while because prominent politicians from there aligned with PDP. People like Chuba Okadigbo (the renowned Political Science professor and senate president), Professor Alex Ekweme (that man who contested against Obasanjo in the PDP Primary election), Pius Ayim (the PDP Senate President) were big names in the South East holding the PDP flag. It wasn't about a case of Yoruba or Fulani, it was about the affiliations and loyalty to the big political party of that time. Some of us who are too smart to understand the pattern won't just be diceived by this content. Why didn't the Igbo vote for SDP when MKO Abiola was the prominent personality that his influence cut across all the tribes? Why didn't the Igbos vote for AD if they wanted to claim alliance with the Yorubas? They left Pa Olu Falae and voted for Obasanjo and you are telling me they chose a Yoruba man. Please, we don't have to accept all these rubbish and forget all these things that happened right under our nose as the reality just because some Gen Z boys who are claiming Obidients are making contents about it. SMH 😰 |

Dalohad:You voted PDP as a party not Yoruba or any hausa. When it was time for PDP to reward you people, Atiku, took your slot. ![]() How come you people never voted other party till when obi cowardly left PDP to labour. Or you expect AD,ACN or APC supporters to Vote your fraudulent candidate. Yoruba, voted yaradua, Jonathan, Atiku and ribadu. Anytime an Ibo man is selected under APC we will vote him. What you envisaging does not align. |
