Posts claim a house help in Nigeria laced a child's school indomie noodles and family stew with rat poison, saying she did it out of curiosity.

The food's odd color and smell tipped off the teacher, who often fed the child and quickly raised the alarm, preventing harm.

While unverified by officials, the story echoes past cases like a 2017 housemaid arrest in Ondo State and a recent Lagos incident, prompting talks on vetting domestic workers and child safety.

hahaha things are happening.... "...saying she did it OUT OF CURIOSITY..."

What a crazy world we live in.

House helps do scare me a lot, especially the ones that will be living with me.

When I need your services, I'll request for it. You come, you work, you go home.

I don't like house helps cooking for me too

Allowing a complete stranger complete access to your food is dangerous. No matter how nice you are to some people, they will always pay you back with evil.
