And Flick should adapt to playing Fdj on the defense rather than midfield. De Jong should replace Martin. Gerrard Martin is the weakest link in our defense, zero pace, zero awareness, zero passing accuracy. Clearance -90

The moment Dejong was introduced i just laughed and told my boy that it's game set.

Whether he was responsible is irrelevant. You can't win an important match with Dejong on the pitch. I predict more Ls with him back fit.

There's no masterclass anywhere. Just place a LB who won't overlap on Yamal, and he's done.

Yeah they played really well defensively. At most point in the game, I was wishing the game ends in a draw but surprisingly Camavinga produced the decisive moment to win the game via a great run.

Did you see dean huijsen last season? He's improved defensively. I'm not even talking of how they played in a mid block but they were getting good blocks and interceptions on our passes. We need to improve defensively

Of course we'll win La Liga due to less competition and major rivals. We've lost all big games so far, but when we score 4 goals in our next match against minnows, people will think all is well.

This game we were mostly level on the same momentum... Both teams being calculative and not the full all-out gung-ho style of football Barca vs Madrid has been delivering in the last 3 seasons.

But alas our defence let us down. Same as coach's tactics. Gordon shouldn't have been up the pitch past 60mins even tho he improved his play in the later parts of the game.
Adeyemi playing just 5 mins in this game and magnitude is ridiculous.

Bad week as a Culer.

At least this will serve as a wake up call.
That nonsensical gamble Deco did this summer not to get defenders has proven to be a foolhardy choice.

I also suspected Flick didn't ask for defenders and said he was good. Cos I couldn't understand the logic. Barca was going all in for Bastoni earlier in the window before shifting all focus to Alvarez and somehow no single defenders came in despite taking our two squad players in Araujo and Cortes.
This is the head scratcher what Deco was thinking. This is bad squad planning especially when you give a hospital worker like Christensen a renewed deal.

If Flick head no wan correct to spot defensive liabilities, you as a Sporting Director still has your influence in certain squad planning.

It was even the Bellingham moment of brilliance that created it, It's good it ended like this so we can sit up though a win could have given us more leeway as regards resting players next year. Hopefully we'll do something in January

Not a very good look to lose to away at PSG and then at home against Real Madrid. Big boost for Real Madrid in the league but we're still 3 points ahead.

No way we could have kept our excellent start to league but PSG brought us down to the earth and Real Madrid took full advantage.

We need to dust ourselves up and get back to winning ways. No title is handed out in October. If I remember vividly, Real Madrid also beat us 2- 1 in their home last season. It is a long season and we need to pick ourselves up quickly and make November a much better month.

Mendes started it, then Hernandez, and now Cucu has perfected it. Once you stay close to Yamal, he disappears. For his development, I think he should play more centrally, where he can go left or right. It's the same move that turned Messi into a beast.

Overall, I think Barcelona did well and will win the league, but the lessons here are for the UCL.
