Celebration of life for late grandma Okonjo of Ogwashi-Uku Delta state - my SS family.

Celebration of life, I remember when she was kidnapped years back, Abba Kyari led the operation that rescued her

since the incident of her kidnapping, she has not recovered fully.....the trauma would be a contributory factor to her demise i'm sure.

May she rest in peace. You will be remembered for your triumphant victory over the subsidy cabal and living long enough to see it's end.

Well, it finally happened. I thought she passed long ago. Political opponents can’t see what to use again Iweala now. Before many children here were born, she was kidnapped for political reasons.

She gave birth to a great woman.

A life well lived. Na celebration of life not mourning. At least she didn't bury any of her children, na her children go bury her. Those who came before us, dreamed and worked to see Nigeria great but later disappointment to see leaders turn it into a z000 where even animals live better compared to humans. All the females retained the family name "Okonjo". These are women who refuse to lose their identity completely because the name itself has become sort of a brand.

A couple of my old friends never bothered to officially change their maiden names, even on social media. All their existing records still bear their maiden names. When I asked them why, they said as long as their children bear their father's name, they can't be bothered with the bother of name change. And their spouses don't even mind.

and when the time comes, we will all go...the titles, the money, the notoriety, the accolades...all 6 feet under. We all should reflect often and often...enjoy life, make an impact in people's lives and leave a legacy...you can choose not to leave any legacies...either way, we will all go. RIP to Mr. Ajiwe...young man, very respectful and a great tenant...like a dream, an accident...gone. I am still speechless. May your gentle soul rest in peace. Food for thought.

I still want karma to run its course on those cabals that abducted this old woman simply Ngozi queried subsidy scam.

The cabals are now in charge of the country, making everything worse than when Ngozi helped PDP to give us cheap petrol, prosperity and high productivity to build the biggest economy in Africa.

NNPCL’s subsidy payment jump by 47.9% to N7.1trn in 2024

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) paid a total of N7.1 trillion as subsidy for premium motor spirit (PMS) in 2024, this sum represents a 47.9 percent increase from N4.8 trillion recorded in 2023.

This is despite the government’s announcement of subsidy removal in 2023.

The company explained that the amount, which it termed ‘energy security expense’ arises when there is differential between the exchange rate used to freeze the premium motor spirit ex-coastal price and the prevailing rate at the point of import settlement.

According to the report, government had instructed that NNPC Limited cannot sell its PMS above a certain regulated price. It added that the cost of petrol import is usually much higher that the regulated price.

I have encountered many professors who struggled academically. Why do you Nigerians think attaining a certain level of educational height makes one intelligent?

Rest on great woman. You raised a greater woman in your daughter. How I was wish just a quarter of our "modern" women could be like you.

I don't think she is a professor yet, she's a Dr while her husband is a professor. It's only her Dad and Mum that are professors....can correct me if am wrong....
