Tinubu Cannot Be Blamed For The North’s Backwardness — Uba Sani President Tinubu cannot be blamed for how backward the North is. As of 2023, the North accounted for 70% of children out of school. If you have ruled or been in government in the northern part of the country since 1999, you share in this blame. Uba Sani Governor, Kaduna State

If the north doesn't change many of their cultural and religious practices, it will continue to be backward. Education is is haram. You don't learn any trade. Having children more than what you can cater for. Ranka dede to the rich not minding how he get the money. |

LagosOrigin:He is really excusing his man Tinubu and also the governors like himself from solving the problem that was apparent in 2023. But that shows also that the people you support are responsible for the same problems too. |

Obiedun:If tinubu does not end our economic dependence on oil, education is going to be haram. A Hausa guy from kaduna did what you want the northerners to do, he went to school , left his village and went to secondary school and then university. And graduated and found that he could not get a job. Meanwhile his primary school mate who stopped at primary six was doing better than him as a farmer and politican. Your governments past and present have been running economies based oon sharing oil and other money, instead of produictivity, and yes that includes the South too. Not one of your states, including your states, produces industrial goods for exports. You are criticisng northerners for saying education is haram, southerners too are saying education na scam. Because when you waste your time trying to get a job in a country that does not produce , you are bound to suffer. Go and tell mr tinubu to change the basis of our economy from oil and sharing money to industries, and no northerner or southerner would scorn education at all, because of the jobs galore. 80% of young nigerians are working in the informal sector, because the formal sector is not working. |

Uba Sani is not Elrufai. He lacks the clout. Negative campaign as embarked upon by Shehu Sani and Uba Sani cannot help Tinubu. Politics of passing the buck and blameshifting will take him nowhere. Neither will politics of sycophancy. If he cannot fix the problems, why is he seeking a second term? To tick the box? Sharing 2026 prados to campaign coordinators while asking Nigerians to bear and persevere. |

Obiedun:It's not like the South are swimming in prosperity either. Life is more bearable for a poor man in the North than it is for the poor man in the South. |

nairalanda1:They are both excusing each other and gaslighting Nigerians. Tinubu stood on the podium in Kaduna and declared that the governors are working because they are paying salaries. What then is the incentive for them to do more despite the much touted revenue from subsidy savings and taxation? The 36 state governors love Tinubu because he doles out money to them without accountability and only asks for their political support in return. Even the much celebrated local government autonomy has now become a political bargaining chip despite the supreme court judgement. It is only applicable in Osun and will no longer be now that Adeleke has "aligned". |

Have this foolish Uba Sani forgotten that the same Tinubu said he is Buhari and Buhari is him? Tinubu also boldly claimed he made Buhari president so it is his turn? So Tinubu is responsible for all the political ills that befell the north. |

LagosOrigin: nairalanda1: iwaeda:You guys are disgraceful Southerners. Nigeria will never develop unless we take the North to task and demand their leaders do the right things to mover Northerners into prosperity and modernity. As it is the North constitute 87% of the most poverty stricken Nigerians alive today. Yoruba and Tinubu hater Aminda and LagosOrigin etal, tell me how this is the fault of Tinubu while you both insist the Dubai dweller Atiku is better to lead Nigeria than PBAT who has never abandoned SW and Lagos as Atiku was comfortable abandoning Nigeria and his native Adamawa to sojourn in Dubai. Another major problem of the North is abandonment of education of the girl-child. Fact check me on this. What has Atiku and co done about this grave problem and how do you wish to pin this on Tinubu? Almajiri system nko that is the biggest recruitment officer for Boko Haram, ISWAP, ISIS etal and bandit groups? Does it fall on Tinubu or Atiku and Northerners to move to end it as Awolowo ended illiteracy in the SW? Refusal to make society more secular in the North and more STEM-reliant (science, technology, Engineering and Mathematics) is the fault of Tinubu ba while Northerners focus on Sharia, religious police Hisbah, mass public marraiges and all manners o backwardness? When is a Northern leader going to broach the topic of how th North needs a decisive family planning regime to stop illiterstes and unskilled/unemployable folks in the region, because Islam allows it, producing tonnes of kids parents cannot cater for who then go on to be menaces to society? You want to put that on Tinuby also? See, you guys from a certain region are the problem of Nigeria. We need to take the North to task and demand they fix up because they will destroy Nigeria otherwise. You hate of Tinubu and Yorubas is making a people who cause the major problem of Nigeria a pass. Do you all know the problem insecurity, terrorism and banditry, is causing Nigeria in lost potential FDI inflow? You guys are jokers. Educated yet incapable of rising above pettiness therefore incapable of being progressive. |

TopBanter:Nevermind the North who made Tinubu president after running on muslim-muslim ticket, what has Tinubu done for the South? Did he not make his presidency a solely Lagos affair while neglecting even other parts of the Southwest? |
| Re: Tinubu Cannot Be Blamed For The North’s Backwardness — Uba Sani by Validated: 11:37am On Oct 26 |
@Uba Sani, the North is plagued by Islam, especially the type practiced in Northern Nigeria. The leaders of Northern Nigeria promote Islamic studies over secular education, so that you can keep the masses dependent on you. Meanwhile, you send your children abroad to study. While you focus on Islamiyya, the Saudis, UAEs, and other Middle Eastern Islamic nations are going secular. Promoting free speech, educating their folks, tear off hyjabs and nikkkum or whatever, .etc. Until the North reforms it's system, 50 years from now, your people will remain backward. If you like produce all Nigerian presidents, nothing will change. |
| Re: Tinubu Cannot Be Blamed For The North’s Backwardness — Uba Sani by TopBanter: 12:12pm On Oct 26 |
AMINDA:Stop this redundant muslim-muslim argument. Even the North cannot win without the South. Buhari tried and failed three times till Ginubu and the SW helped him. We need each other. This is why it is crucial they have their turn and we have ours per the rotation agreement. Look at the major problem causing economic malaise and stagnation for Nigeria today, I.e insecurity plus low entrepreneural capacity and poor human resources capacity for contribution towards GDP etc, and the North is majorly responsible. Principally because of the likes of Atiku, you support, who have no business aspiring to be President of Nigeria and should rather focus on being the Awolowos of the North by concentrating on an age of insular and entirely North-centric development period as Awo achieved with free education, Cocoa wealth, first TV station in Africa etc etc. You guys backing Northerners like Atiku to usurp the turn of the South are a disgrace. The North is taking us down and has made us a terrorist nation. Not the SW Tinubu comes from that is today, along with the SS, the heartbeat of Nigeria. How terribly calibrated are Southerners like you who are supporting Atiku to usurp the turn of the South, to be President, instead of all of us, if progressive, demanding all Northern big men and women take responsibility for the severe problems the North is causing our nation and threatening to drown progressive regions like the SW and SS? What is wrong with you bro? The North has no business seeking the Presidency. They have had their 8 years. They are are all tacitly in bed with terrorism and banditry from Gumi and many political leader while people like you back their usurpation of the turn of the South when the likes of Atiku etal have never shown any grasp of the concept charity begins at home as Awolowo and even Tinubu have demonstratrated amply. See, you people are not progressive or upright at all. You are simply driven by a need to see "Yoruba President" and Yorubas fail otherwise you'd see glaringly we should not be indulging the North right now. They are taking Nigeria down. Travel, tourism and hospitality industry virtually dead, aside Lagos and the SW and SS, while Ghana , a nation of 33 million people and smaller landmass than Nigeria plus far less diverse topography and geography, makes billions of dollars yearly from those sectors. A lot more than Nigeria !!! Are you not ashamed to to shouting Tinubu while supporting Atiku who takes no responsibility for the problem his people are causing our nation that is not occupied by Fulanis alone? We should be unitedly insisting they fix up or leave. Certainly they have no business seeking power because boko haram, ISWAP, ISIS and banditry , thriving and celebrated in the North, can never take hold in the SW because Yoruba leaders and core human decency would nip it in the bud before it gains a foothold. I am ashamed to hail from the same nation as you. Just a shame it is not in my power to separate Nigeria so those dedicated to doing right always can go their way and gain Singapore while you can be led by Atiku who will only deliver Afghanistan as we have seen his career in politics confirm. |

TopBanter:Take away the Southwest votes for Buhari in 2015 and Buhari would still have emerged with the highest votes cast. Why didn't the Southwest votes make Atiku, Ribadu and Falae president when Tinubu supported them previously? Tinubu simply saw an emerging tsunami coming and rode on it by throwing his fellow Southern brother, Jonathan, under the bus Don't forget that the Southwest didn't vote Obasanjo and Yar'adua but they emerged president. |

| Re: Tinubu Cannot Be Blamed For The North’s Backwardness — Uba Sani by TopBanter: 1:04pm On Oct 26 |
AMINDA:Buhari, in three attempts, had never won a single Yoruba State. With Tinubu he won all SW State bar Ekiti Fayose valiantly delivered for Atiku. Minus PBAT, GEJ would have won all Yoruba States and Buhari would likely not have got the requisite 25% in any. Meaning GEJ would have remained President. Tinubu, Fashola, Saraki, Amosun etal deft local and global handling of Buhari's image helped to reshape his 'unelectable' persona also. Showing you know nothing about politics, ask knowledgeable guys here and they will confirm Tinubu merely gave platforms to Atiku and Ribadu. He never supported them with cash, grass root mobilisation and the full armoury as deployed for Buhari. Tinubu put everything on the line for Buhari because he expected payback of "one good turn deserves another" to be President after Buhari. Hence his "emilokan" talk mischief-makers like you love interpreting as sense of entitlement whereas the man was merely stating he deserved the same 100% backing he gave APC North faction to rule for 8 years. Why do you think Aisha Buhari loves Tinubu so much? She knows he was honour personified and she did not like how Malami, Daura, Abba Kyari (deceased) etal, because Buhari supported them to do so, were trying to scheme out PBAT after he had being an uncompromisingly staunch ally of the North to defeat his own fellow Northerner in GEJ. You guys do not understand the concept of honour and uprightness and this is why someone like you, from the SE, is behind Atiku to usurp the turn of South. I don't like Obi at all and think he is a weakling who'd be a waste of time and incapable of implementing the reforms Nigeria needs to move toward developed nation status. Yet, push comes to shove, I would still grudginly accept he be president rather than a Northerner. Especially the dishonorable Atiku. Are we in the South their slave? Do you not see what Wike achieved standing up to them in the PDP and chasing them all away after he warned "I will not be second class in my own nation" after Northerners ganged-up to backstab the South, out of dishonorable power lust, in what should have been a Southern PDP ticket in 2023 as Bode George and co demanded? Southerners like you will be the ruination of Nigerian whereas the likes of Tinubu, Wike, Bode George, Akpabio etal are our salvation because they are a set of politician who have realised the North must be forced to comport itself for Nigeria to become developed or they should join their sahel brothers in Niger Republic, Mali, Burkina Faso etal. North does not own Nigeria. The region is the weak link in fact that should be thanking and obeying those of us doing the right thing to elevate Nigeria rather than debilitating her with terrorism, banditry, out of school children, unsustainable population growth etc, etc, etc . Please what has your hero and preferred Presidential candidate Atiku ever done or mentioned about the problem shown below while you continue to insist he must be President? Tinubu is responsible for what is revealed below?

| Re: Tinubu Cannot Be Blamed For The North’s Backwardness — Uba Sani by AMINDA: 1:35pm On Oct 26 |
TopBanter:The question was simple. Why couldn't Tinubu make Atiku, Ribadu and Olu Falae president when the Southwest supported them previously? Until 2015 when Tinubu latched onto the Buhari wave, other regions were making candidates president without Southwestern support. Buhari didn't win in 3 trials because he was contesting against a PDP that was practically owned by the North and had broad support across the entire Southsouth and Southeast including the middlebelt. Can Tinubu say the same? He can't even win the whole of the Southwest in a landslide. |
| Re: Tinubu Cannot Be Blamed For The North’s Backwardness — Uba Sani by TopBanter: 2:52pm On Oct 26 |
AMINDA:My last post explained it all but, as an obtuse character, you feign lack of comprehension. Tinubu is a wily politician. Google it. In fact, see below. I've helped you. If Tinubu is fully invested in a project he will usually give 100% and succeed. If not, he can use anything or anyone as a stepping stone without committing fully to what he knows is not in his permanent political interest. All consumate political leaders are built like that. You should be asking why Atiku, your hero, never built any platform like ACN he had to plead with Tinubu to use after OBj was determined to ensure Yar Adua, on the platform of PDP, became President and not Atiku. See, your memory lapses and gaps in connecting historically relevant facts is troubling. Not surprising though for a supporter of Atiku who jumps from Party to Party, built nothing and no one and abandons Nigeria for Dubai.

TopBanter:You only succeeded in exposing Tinubu as a treacherous snake and a backstabber who says one thing and then does the other for his own selfish interest. Was that why he opposed his Yoruba brother, Obasanjo, all through his 8 years but now expects the likes of Seyi Makinde and all others to support him? |

iwaeda:Rubbish. Who currently create the major problems of Nigeria today? Are their leaders taking responsibility for solving serious problems they are causing themselves and other Nigerians. No. They are hankering to snatch power only to be supported by misguided Southerners like you conditioned to hate yourself, your fellow Southerners (like Tinubu) and play second fiddle to the backwards North you host inferiority complex for. For example, you come here daily with all your vitriol directed at Tinubu but never at Gumi who portrays bandits ad victims or Atiku who fails to take charge regarding the problem of terrorism and banditry his region is using to destroy Nigeria. You guys are irresponsible adults. |
