The reason why we are not divided is because nigerians do not know how they would divide the country in a way that would enable them to be with people that would live in peace. Also, a lot of minorities fear living in new countries that are dominated by majority ethnic tribes where they would be forced to assimilate into the new ethnick volkstat at the expense of their culture and language.

Also, a divided Nigeria would make the current situation look like paradise. It would be an anarchic state that would be riven with resource control wars.
