Yes o. Let Tinubu send 90% of Nigeria's annual budgetary allocation to Lagos and abandon other states of the federation. |

No be only more support, the FG should just declare Lagos an independent country since everything in this CORNtree 🌽 is unfairly redistributed to Lagos |

These people are using Nigeria money to build Lagos alone Incase separation comes, tell me why more money is pent in Lagos than any other state, Go to usa, all states are developed and that's why people don't run away from their state in USA, they only go for holidays in other states and return |
| Re: FG Helping Lagos, But More Support Needed — Sanwo-Olu by ARISHEM: 12:11pm On Oct 26 |
It's because Tinubu is the President. If the President was to come from the north or other regions in the country they won't give Lagos shishi. That is why people of other regions are bitter about the Lekki Calabar coastal highway |

| Re: FG Helping Lagos, But More Support Needed — Sanwo-Olu by Guestmale: 12:17pm On Oct 26 |
Definitely Lagos need more support, more than any other state of the federation, though the political and administrative capital of Nigeria has been taken out of Lagos to abuja more than thirty years ago yet Lagos state though the smallest state in terms of landmass continue to receive influx of people from other states and regions almost everyday and Lagos has also remain the economic hub of Nigeria. Therefore Lagos state deserve special recognition. |

After developimg Lagos with oil money, they begin to beat their chest that tinubu, yorubas built it,then you ask them if the yorubas in oyo, ogun, osun are different from the ones in Lagos. |

Of all the 6 states in the southwest, only Lagos (and partially Ogun) is benefiting much from this Tinubu government. There's nothing you can pinpoint as Tinubu's achievements in Ondo, Oyo and Osun states. I deliberately omitted ekiti because I haven't been to that state for years |

ceejay80s:Yes oh, like Alabama and California are on thr same level. Stop posting rubbish trash. You guys are funny sha, trying to compare Nigeria with the US states. These states hve been in existence while your people still dey cover their private parts with leaves hunting each other for food. I beg stop. Even with that, there's a huge difference between rich and poor states. You can never compare California with Alabama, you can't compare NY to Arkansas or Texas with Wyoming. Every state have their own advantages just like you have in Nigeria but they are not all developed evenly or even close. |

IGR bigger than the whole New York City But em they beg fg for money Lagos was developed with cocoa money The greatest lie ever |
| Re: FG Helping Lagos, But More Support Needed — Sanwo-Olu by Shikena(m): 1:06pm On Oct 26 |
The most important help needed by Lagos is for other states to sit up and start performing at a much higher level. We can't keep arguing blindly against this basic fact. We have stayed too long at mediocre level across most of our states and no zone is left out including those with very high monthly allocations like Delta State and Rivers State. We also very tiny states across the country but their monthly allocations only result in a few extra large stomachs. They need to be more aggressive with collaborations and incentives to leverage whatever resources they have. Every state in Nigeria is richly blessed with one thing or the other. Having a huge percentage of graduates and productive youths end up in Lagos State and FCT is no longer acceptable in 2026. We have brains, we must engage our brains and figure out ways to take charge of our environment. It's been a festival of excuses since 1960, no state governor should be allowed to hold local governments to ransom anymore. We need the potentials of every corner of Nigeria unlocked. When the real stakeholders, the Nigerian citizens, start seeing real movement and development they will take charge of things, including their community security as a critical part of their commonwealth and existence. |
| Re: FG Helping Lagos, But More Support Needed — Sanwo-Olu by owobokiri(m): 1:10pm On Oct 26 |
Lagos should be helping the rest of Nigeria. Lagos economy is bigger than that of Ghana, yet Ghana is prosecuting more projects of worth than Lagos. Lagos state and her corrupt rulers should stop dragging meager allocations with Osun Ebonyi and Gombe states. We have done a lot for Lagos. It's is time for Lagos to step up and start doing a little for others too. Atleast in the Southwest . Where are they mega projects? Where are the mega housing estate? What are they doing with Lagos monies all these years?? |

We are in deep trouble in Nigeria. See the kind of upside-down reasoning from people who want progress? What are the states doing with their current allocations? owobokiri: |

Guestmale:Then tomorrow the collective efforts of Nigeria and Nigerians will be disregarded and start telling other people that its not their home. Though heavy investment on infrastructure is aimed at making it a home to anyone resident there. Lets see how is goes. |

Of course, it’s all about Lagos, right? Let’s just keep praising its brilliance while subtly pushing for more investment. AcadaWriter |

Straighttime:The fact that, you rent your house to an outsider, paying his rent and keeping the house protected and tidy don't make the tenant the owner of the house. Keeping the house tidy and protected is for the good of the tenant. |

NOW THAT WE HAVE HEARD FROM THE HORSES MOUTH, WE CAN ALL AGREE WITHOUT FEAR OF BEING SANCTION BY SEUN THAT TINUBU'S FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS PRIMARILY WORKING FOR LAGOS STATE ALONE. |
