Spending 3k on a meal? How na. Are you eating out all the time? I'm speaking as a single guy that earns 500k monthly. I'm not rich, but I won't say I'm poor.

I rarely eat out, but when I do, it cost 2k per plate.

Normally, I cook. Let me do calculation for a regular day. Beans and pap with milk in the morning. Beans, 5H, 2 pap (2H), Hollandia Evap milk (6H)...maybe I use half kg of gas to cook (6H)....total for morning food, N1,900.

Afternoon food, let's say i eat out at Calabar kitchen, 2k.

Night food, I fry 1k plantain and eat with the remaining beans, and use like 300 naira gas to fry plantain, total is 1,300.

Let's add half a bag of cold pure water for the day, 3H...


Grand total 1,900 + 2,000 + 1,300 + 300 = 5,500

N5,500 naira a day on feeding as a single guy. Sometimes maybe less..

After the person buys land in Itori or Wasinmi, he should leave his job in Lagos or wherever to come live in the forest or he should from the forest travel to Lagos daily to his job?

Alot of salary earners in big cities are living hand to mouth. Forget the nice car, flat and suit. They are mostly broke and pay one loan to collect another immediately.
