I didn’t see this coming at all. I thought they would be using trophies won to judge it and if that criterion was to be used, it would be given to Ruiz because he won everything (domestic trophies in France and major trophy for his country). So my fear was that Ruiz would be given ahead of Mbappe. I wasn’t looking at Kane because I thought they had already lewadoskinized him when they gave him that Muller award🤣
