harry kane deserved it. Lewandoski wasnt lucky in 2020 due to cancellation becos of covid 19. Theiry henry is another amaxing great player who didnt win too.

That's the problem with you young people, Salah had the best individual season of any player in Europe and the only reason he wasn't even in the top 4 was because he didn't win the UCL, did Kane win UCL this season ?

Why not give the Gerd muller award (best striker) to Mbappe at least? They could have done that to keep the thing consistent (like they did with Lewandoski in 2022)
Also, about your Ribery reference, what was Ribery’s contributions to that year’s campaign success? Why aren’t you telling us he actually came distant third?
No disrespect to Harry but he shouldn’t have won this just by padding up stats in the German league. It would have been far more understandable if he had won those local trophies (treble) with a struggling team (like Stuggart, Koln, Bremen, HSV, etc) in German but c’mon, those trophies are Bayern’s birthright. With or without him, they would still win them.
Didn’t they tell us that the award is often given to players who did exceptional things? Why not give it to the player who just broke the WC goal-scoring record then? Being the highest scorer in your local league, the Champions league and the World Cup is no small feat and definitely not a coincidence.
