I won't lie, going to a buka is still the best experience for me despite the standard borderline hygiene environment.

They know their employees steal from dem, that is why owners usually keep employees salary to low amount.
Kobicove:
Running a food retail business in Nigeria is not an easy task, if you don't have very tight internal controls your employees will steal you blind thereby leading to a collapse of the business sad

grin ndi deveropers of Lagos are missing on the list…….they claim to have deveroped Lagos and one can’t help but wonder, what exactly did they develop? grin Yorubas are still the biggest investors and developers of Lagos yorubaland, controlling the formal sector eg, manufacturing, real estate, banking, insurance, construction, fintech, media, entertainment etc. this are the sectors that pay huge taxes to the govt and create employment for the people and not some 2*2 shops scattered everywhere and defacing the city of Lagos……indeed Yoruba lagba grin
When will you people stop this nonsense dick measurement?

Besides, the Igbos are majorly traders. Only a very handful of them has the mind to go into actual business.

I hope you know the difference between trading and business? Even though trading ( buying and resale for profits) is a sub sector of business, real business goes far beyond just trading.

Akara is a lucrative business. Imagine 2m people buying akara of 2k each daily from you. Some will even buy 5k and even more. 2m x 2000 people daily in 30days. In 12months..

Do the math..

Let me go do some push ups. I will be back when you are done with the math
Smiles 😊, 2 million people buying akara from one vendor daily is ABSOLUTELY NOT FEASIBLE guy, walahi. C'mon man let's be realistic!

Fast food restaurants are near-collapse!
I doubt. Do you know fast food is not just for eating alone!
People go there to hold brief meetings and in the middle of the meeting, you order meals.

Also during popular holidays and events, people go there with their family, friends to buy food to celebrate and mark a memorable day.
Hemanwel:
See this one! Fast-food businesses that are all moribund or near-collapse.

Crunchies Fried Chicken with over 70 outlets is a big player in the industry especially in the South East and South South areas.

They have been operational since 2003.

Its current MD and CEO is Mrs. Muka Ohaeji.

People with inferiority complex don't talk or compete.

Take corrections. Stay in your little corner and maintain your lane with humility. If not, return to your 5 plots
Irony1:
How are they chest beating. It is because you have an inferiority complex that is why what they do bothers you.

What do you mean by startup cost and maintenance?
There are alot of bukkas and mamaput that have start or have already started. So many of dem.
So what are you saying!
benardtotti:
You dont know what you are talking about , food business especially setup as a franchise model is one of the most profitable businesses you can venture into

The only reason a lot of Nigerians dont do that model is cos of the startup cost and maintenance.

They don't need to be on the list because they don't run Buka, mama put or restaurant biz.

But, they will supply you with modern kitchen equipments imported from China or Turkey to set it up.
However, you cannot drive your car safely and for long without them. Use your sense. Soon, you will expect them to start Suya biz. GTFOH.
