It is the more reason I don’t do donations for schools set up by churches
I see no reason for it if I can’t afford the fees.

As the time goes by a lot of people won’t be able to afford education and the church they find solace with is way above their league.

When a few of us address churches as business some people take offence but in reality it is a business,
Who told yhu money was donated for the building of CU? undecided

Well, until yhu can reason properly or have a real understanding of how things work, yhu will never be able stand the truth.

Unfortunately that doesn't stop more enrollment, they even reject or expel those that are ready to Pay and mind you, the university is one of the Best,so save that energy and data you want use to attack the church.
I will never be Poor.
Keep quiet!

N4.6Million per year for Medicine and Surgery the cheapest in the country? You must be a comedian full of lies.

There are many competing private universities in the country with far less charges. Example is Maduka university, Enugu. The fees is far, far less.

The school management should review the fees. Otherwise, they would lose so many bright and brilliant students.

how many of the best performers in our world today went to covenant?
They are not in the list of top ten best doctors, top 10 engineers, accountants etc.

Each of University of Ibadan, Unilag and uniport still produce graduates that shape our society far more than covenant does
Without prejudice. Those guys are doing well.

I schooled with about 6 of them here at graduate level in Canada. Their success speed is on another level.

They moved with the speed of lights to international company.

Then the connection can't be compared. Thank you sir

Fairly cheaper for Nigerians compared to international students
5 million for med surge is fairly cheeper to Nigerians?
If someone paid 5 million per a session and when graduated,he works in Nigeria hospital and earn 200k per month,is that what you called fairness?

Can 200k times 12 gives you millions paid as tuition fee in the same 1 year duration?
I think it's even foreign students own that is even fairly cheeper when compared to what they will earn as salary in their respective countries.

Foreign students are required to pay more than ×6 of what Nigerian students are paying. Foreigners from African descent pay twice as much as Nigerian students. Hope this won't discourage them from enrolling in the institution?
This is the pattern all over the world. In RGU in Scotland nursing for international students is £9,000 per annum while nationals pay £3,000.

These fees show how wide the gap has become between private university costs and what most Nigerian families can realistically afford. Covenant has a strong academic reputation, but when tuition runs into millions per session, many bright students are priced out before merit even matters. Families need clearer support, such as scholarships, payment plans and transparent breakdowns of what the fees cover. Education should remain a path upward, not a privilege limited to a few households.

For students and parents wey dey consider am, no just look the tuition alone. Ask wetin the fee cover: hostel, feeding, books, lab and departmental charges, plus transport to Ota every session. Na that total go tell you whether e fit your pocket.

And medicine na 6 years minimum, so multiply am well before you start. Better to plan the whole thing from day one than to stop halfway.
