“Tinubu should be commended for going solar because that leaves more power for Nigerians to access.”

Hajia Kemi Asekun Shittu, APC Presidential Campaign Spokesperson, defends the President's decision to use solar power, arguing that it could ease pressure on the national grid.

Responding to concerns about Nigerians still struggling with electricity supply, she pointed to the growing population the national grid now has to serve and said solar energy offers an alternative.

Perhaps you're the illiterate. Do you know nations like the UK wish they have our favourable weather endowment so solar energy, essentially renwwable and green energy, can be a serious option for them as the world runs out of fossil fuel?

The UK even gives a grant for home owners who install solar system despite the nations challenges with winter weather and low sunshine output.

PBAT is doing the right thing and leading by example. You all just gather to be senselessly pessimistic and insulting like kids. Really annoying.

How can any sane and right thinking adult fault PBAT/APC for going solar when we are using our competitive advantage of abundant sunlight the likes of Alaska envy us for.

What is wrong with solar power installed by the President of a tropical African Country?

If our continent is not populated by people who think backwards, should solar not be a considerable part of our power solution today considering , unlike fossil fuel, it is renewable and will never run out and becomes cheaper after the initial outlay?
