Okay! I think I understand the problem......and I think u're right I just checkd the brochure. Just ask sha although frankly a B3 is very high na. Lemme quote what I saw verbatim.

"In addition to UTME requirements requires (A) first degree second class lower in the sciences or agric; degree in medicine, denstistry or pharm and PTI HND (lower credit) or ND (upper credit), merit own diploma in comp engin and data processing; other recognised university diploma (upper credit) in engin: diploma in maritime tech.
(B) HND (upper credit) in engin/technology and PTI (HND Upper credit) in Engin/Tech and PTI (upper credit) into 300levels
(C) ND /HND holders should have "A" grade in mathematics."

I sincerely wish u the best. If uniben dey mess up abeg choose another school..no be only dem get engineering. Goodluck.

STORM2: Wow! Hmmmmm....for you to have put them second choice would mean u have a better school u're eyeing. If that isn't really the case, u'll need to go to jamb office and find out how to change it to first choice. This is nigeria nah....very few schools accept second choice talk less of second choice for medicine.
Don't panic though cos there is time. Just visit the jamb office to know what's up. I'm guessing u'll have to buy some sort of change of intitution form or sth like that...3k should get u that. Goodluck.

OAU? Okay I get u now. The blunt answer is no. For DE I doubt uniben will look at u twice. But then again as I always say..I'm not a lecturer nor do I work in the school all I can give is my humble opinion. Do everything u need to to get into OAU. Disturb every contact u have and pray. God dey....u'll be fine.

auxtin: A-grade isn't compulsory at all! Just pass ur math, english, physics, chemistry (and one other science course)even at Credits levels and you're in! I'm 100% sure!! Take me anywhr and I'll say this again... That is a picture of the current Faculty of Engineering Prospectus! Or is there a better place 2 get such an info other than that?

Thank God! But haba why is the jamb brochure so outdated!!!

The NYSC certificate is supposed to be a compulsory requirement for those who are applying through DE with a BSc because it is always one of the credentials that you are required to sumit at JAMB'S office after your online registration.
