Mynd_44:Comic relief no my dear,it seems you've beat me to it. Boko Haram as you and I know,no one initially took them seriously until they started wrecking havoc by the dozens. FG didn't do anything about it? Honestly? I can remember Amnesty, dialogues unending, before the deployment of troops so please say something else. Fuel subsidy,SURE-P is what? I've been an eye witness to a SURE-P project in Niger state,Bayelsa,Rivers etc so let's not go there. Electricity is on the right track if you'll be sincere to yourself. Second Niger bridge is still in it's planning stage and I pray work will begin in earnest. The Rails are not up and running Mynd-44? Wow! Really rise above the pettiness puhleese! 6 Likes |

theoctopus1: A contract that was awarded monthsssss ago, Jonathan was even present, and yet all we see is political construction. I was on that road today . The Lag-Iba express way is over 130km, maybe on some 2-3kms you see some workers forming activity. The decoy is for 2015, when campaign starts by sep 2014, trust me, the volume of workers and earth building equipments on that road no go get part 2. I can see through their evil decoy. |

alaoeri:just shut up please, the problem with most nairalanders is that they don't travel at all.they only sit behind their computers and type rubbish.the last time I plied the east west road last week, the quality of the work I saw was so solid it can compete with any road in the world and I mean it.I have never seen anything like it here in Nigeria.the thickness of the bitumen I believe would be well over 3 feet thick.all y'all APC e-rat should better go find something better to do with y'all lives rather than waste it gossiping. 4 Likes |

The LASG even had to bail the shabby contractors out by paying them off for their immense laziness in a buy out contract . . . . http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/11/lekki-epe-expressway-concession-buy-back-begging-posers/ 2 Likes |

alaoeri: The Silos and rice farms with pictures to confirm where paper projects? Please tell me more! Sure-p is visible in those regions I mentioned and please do be patient it is coming to those states, that is if allocations have not been made already oo! Electricity is improving sir just say the truth it really doesn't hurt. I live in Lagos so I am not just talking for talking sake. Factor in the fact that this is a transition period and things are bound to be shaky pending when stability comes. The rails you mentioned are they functional or not? I am yet to hear of those coaches not being filled to capacity all the time. As for GEJ administration lacking direction, maybe it's so because you are looking in the wrong direction perhaps? alaoeri: So SURE-P are 'mere lies & paper work' in Osun, Oyo and Ekiti, yet the Lagos-Kano Railways which passed tru these States is up and running? SURE-P na lie for those States, yet you have heard of the present State of the Benin-Ore-Lagos Rd? You are complaining of SURE-P in your region, yet you are on a thread discussing ongoing constructions and expansions in Lagos-Ibadan Expressway? And this is not even considering the Social programmes of the scheme yet. http://www.sure-p.gov.ng/index.cfm/sure-programmes/approved-projects-for-20122013/ By the way, States and LGAs have received over #400billion in almost 2 years, what has the APC Govts jn those States done with their share which they have been collecting unfailingly EVERY month at the FAAC meeting Your time to point them out..... 1 Like |

jmaine: So six (6) months after the jamboree flag off for construction on the most important highway in Nigeria, all we can see is tens of workers on less than 2% of the portion of the highway ?. I know their planned timeline for real work to start on that road is Aug-Sep 2014, by then campaign for 2015 must have started, after 2015 elections in January, the drama continues |

jmaine:with all due respect, your "The flag happened 5 months ago and not 6 months " statement is a daft one . If i am to indulge you July 1 - Nov ending is 5 months, your report was on June 5. I was on that road today," forming activity" on 2km out of 130km road, 6 months after flagoff jamboree should be indefensible, taking account of the perennial failure of the FG to fix that road |
