hi guyz,ive been using an 07 camry alias spider since 2011 and ive not changed anytin,just engine oil and filter,but i kip readn abt gearbox oil nd d likes,pls....am i supposed to service my gearbox after sometym or do i wait til it givs a sign .....infact wot shld i do as regards d health of my gearbox having driven it since 2011 witout an issue. thanks.

Toyota says the 2007 gear oil should never be changed. But after i bought mine, i checked d gear oil and it was already black with a burning smell. I forgot about what toyota said and changed it to the recommended ATF(WS).

no worry. Na old thread be dis. D gearbox Don already pack. Nd he has replaced it. Na dis yeye problem wey nairaland get. It's really frustrating. A lot of valuable thread has been lost.

wooooow!!!! interesting. just seeing the thread. infact my own case on my camry has been lost, i don't even feel like typing d issue all over again

Please do you have the gear in your custody? i will like to have it if you dont mind?
