No Ebola patient died in Abuja says Abuja Doctor who treated suspected patient.

Rumours have been flying around that an Ebola patient died at the Garki National Hospital in Abuja but that’s very far from the truth. We spoke to one of the doctors at Zankli Hospital, the hospital reported to have started treatment on the patient suspected to have contracted Ebola. The patient was eventually transferred to Garki National Hospital. According to the doctor, the patient in question had had issues with diabetic coma and had background retroviral infection. The patient’s kidney shut down, he was eventually transferred from Zankli to Garki hospital where he eventually died. This had nothing to do with Ebola whatsoever. The public will do well to confirm issues concerning Ebola, it causes and other related information before spreading them.
