Okunland has produced over 800 Profs both retired and active, over 100 Ph.D holders Presently across the country serving in various higher institutions. As a people Okunland has produced a vice chancellor of a federal university, four chief medical directors of teaching hospitals, eight ministers, provosts and rectors of colleges of education and polytechnics etc. Yet it is hard to image that a people so educated are yet so politically in disarray, lacking political force to move okunland forward, instead we have been reduced to fighting senatorial sit for political relevance and community deveopment. We are politically backward in every sense which has brought little or no development to Okunland. The bulk of the socio-economic and educational development in Okunland had been facilitated through community efforts. Maybe it is high time we put our focus elsewhere on things that matter for development. What can you say about this.

At sighting this thread, I thought it's meant for knowing ourselves better, and understanding our places of birth, but the turn-off is, seeing it in a politics section, then I said to myself, this might end up being a political debates and intense argument.
