Hello house, I was invited for a written interview at Krystal-Bal School.
I was so impressed with the questions asked. It encompasses every aspect of the education of a child and all that is expected of a good teacher, which lasted for 1hour.
The questions ranges from qualities of a good teacher, responsibilities of a good teacher, how a teacher can achieve effective teaching and learning, records by a school and by a class teacher.
After the test, we were told that if we were successful, we will be contacted on Wednesday for further interview, especiall those that applied to teach in the secondary section.
Thats all, waiting for the next phase.

Xtfield: When you teach at the pry schl level you teach a variety of subjects. A good graduate in any discipline will have little or no challenge with the pry school syllabus. Some high flying schools however have specialist subject teachers for subjects such as Maths, Science, English etc. In your case you could be employed as a specialist science teacher for the upper primary classes. If you visit the science laboratories of some of these schools you will be surprised at how well equipped they are. Besides do not underestate

stimate the intelligence of modern pry school kids. Some of them know so many things that you did not get to know until you were in the university. Finally permit me to say that sometimes accepting to work at a lower level can invariably open the door to a higher level in the same organisation. Some years ago a young lady with a good NCE certificate applied to teach in a school but there was no vacancy. She was told the school only needed cleaners a position which was reserved for SSCE applicants. She begged to be given the job as she was tired of staying at home. At the end of that session she was voted the bedt support staff of the year. A teacher in the primary school resigned and this lady wad moved into the class ad the new teacher.

Well said... I had a wonderful experience teaching in upper primary... The interesting aspect of it is that they so inquisitive and they believe you shud b able 2 respond to all der questions dt somtimes u may be sent off gaurd wit der bizzared questions...
