RockMaxi: Noooo! Chris Olukolade you can't do this! This man laid his life for the peace of this Nation, denying him is a disservice and a negative signal to becoming a patriot. RIP gallant soldier, your memories will surely live on. huh huh
Do they even realize the effect on morale?
These Men are human beings with families for Godsake!
Was it an Illegal Mission, for him to be denied like that?
Kai!

BlackTechnology: Those of you saying that the defense HQ is lying should paste the link of the newspaper report that broadcasted the missing jet and the names of the pilots 3 weeks ago as acknowledged by the defense HQ 3 weeks ago
They NEVER mentioned the names of the pilots.

If you look at Olukolade's comment he did not deny the man,it was the Air force guy that denied the man.May the soul of that pilot rest in peace.

To all enemies of this great nation; boko-are-rams sponsors, those who seek political scores on boko-are-rams atrocities, their media partners and online secretaries, the collective goodwill of Nigerian citizens who prays for peace and stability of this nation will defeat your clandestine activities.
Thereafter, you will be hiding your head in shame if you have conscience.
If the game of politics for governance is this being played in Nigeria, then we should look for other types of governance system. Everything about it makes me sick. Why can't all work together for good of the nation. Some persons created this boko-are-rams insurgency that have outgrown its master, then selfish politicians bought stakes in it and started using it too.
Anyone who is not for us is against us. Most criticisms against the federal govt. is not constructive.

May the Lord continue to give Nigerian Armed Forces victory and protection. For the gallant Soldiers that have paid the supreme price in battle, eternal rest grant unto them Oh! Lord and may their souls rest peace - Amen

God Bless Nigeria.

bros this is not funny, this alone is enough to start a revolution we truly needed in this country.
Is that priority?
A revolution will be a total failure, Nigeria is too diverse, not all parties can be satisfied. The conflict and strife would be out of this world.
I just hope a radical person gets to power.
Or will look towards regionalism and reduce the power at Abuja.

Now Nigerian army is fighting the terror propaganda war the right way. There is no right and wrong in war. Every party to this battle feeds off what ever news that prevails on the media.
Nigerians need to understand that the sole objective is to defeat these terror groups. Whether the pilot was beheaded is not the issue..... the issue is that if Nigerians choose to propogate and promote the statements from the BH group....they win. If we stand by the Nigerian Army (the morale of the BH foot soilders drops).

Sometimes I ask, to whose advantage is the falsehood label being forced on the NA? whose interest does it serve? Young men are dying at the hot fronts and we type all manners of demoralising rubbish behind our screens.

This war is currently more of media propaganda than arms. Just a day after the news of the death of Shekau, lots of the foot soilders surrendered at different locations cos their morale is so media dependent.

All Nigerians need to stand by the Nigerian Army at this time and we must jointly echo their position on this war. This is not a time to be politically correct. Anyday we win the media war, the terror war is 75% won.
Well said...

The enemy uses more propaganda than anything else, especially when its effective.

Its a pity how majority of Nigerians just believe everything they hear from unverified sources.

Propaganda itself is an art of war and its easier and cheaper than gunfire and warfare.

Let's know what is important-and that is we all should support the right leader to enable Nigeria harness its potentials,we should not be myopic,we ought to lolook into the future,5yrs-10-20yrs from now.-cos a leader has a huge role to play, especially in managing scarce resources effectively to maximise usage and value.

We must be patriotic, and give constructive criticism especially when it comes to our security-the military are playing their role, given the corruption and waste going on among the ruling class in Nigeria. the welfare of the military front-liners should be upgraded, senators, house of reps earn too much. The perks in our governance is too much and these elected politicians that are meant to serve are living like Kings and doing nothing to benefit the people...and all y'all be talking trash blaming those risking their necks for ya.

Can y'all be men enough to fight for your freedoms or are just p-ssies that like to rant on keypads.

Dear, you spoke maturely anyway. However, some people by their comments seems to be jubilant over BH's actions on innocent citizens and the Armed Forces which is aimed at painting the govt weak and insensitive which I doubt any govt will fold his arms and watch such acts. Terrorism war is not a conventional war. I just don't like the attitude of our politicians in this regard.
People should not play politics with the security of the nation, politicians should learn to stand as one on some issues.
I repeat again, I hate Nigerian politics as it is played today, if it gets better tomorrow, I will withdraw my statement. I never seize to pray for peace and unity of our dear country.

Long Live Fed Rep of Nigeria
God Bless Nigeria.

I disagree with you........ War propaganda isn't spreading false statements but exaggerating the truth, no matter how little the truth is.......

If he was indeed captured and killed, the NA's denial will actually reduce morale among its soldiers.... It would send a wrong message to the soldiers fighting on ground that if they die gallantly in battle, they won't be remembered and acknowledged in death....
