I noticed some of you were wondering why RVP wasn't substituted when Falcao was substituted,despite that he was largely anonymous for the most part of the game. The reason is,he is the stand-in-captain and as Van Gaal said "my captain shall always play",I think he was trying to extend that privilledge to RVP,being the stand-in-captain.


And on why Falcao was substituted,I think he still has fitness worries and as such Van Gaal don't want to risk him,so as to keep him in shape for the big matches against Man.Citeh,As$nal and Chelshit!


A wonderful display from the lads. Thank to De Gea,Di Maria and Falcao.
