I wrote this as a form of correction, to those who have been misinformed about the monthly earnings of a private soldier and other ranks as well.

A private doesn't earn , 80k a month as was generally reported by some individuals, rather they earn about 40,000 naira. A lance corporal earns about 50-60 a month as the case maybe. I won't post for other ranks.because it is confidential.
My dad was an army personnel(Soldier), hence, why I was able to get this figures.

let me clear the air once and for all.. an and ex boy, a private soldier salary varies base on d unit he or she serves. for example an infantry soldier salary who us always on field will quite be different with a signal soldier who is always sitting in d house. but the minimum salary 49k while the maximum 53k

Pls OP is this the basic salary Or the full salary when other bonuses/allowances are added? If it is the later then it is too small. That's my opinion though

Wetin consign me na #teampolice. Wazo x 40 everyday =2000 x 30=60k plus my basic 18k=78k monthly shikena

its the basic salary, though bonuses won't make much of a difference.
