All yoruba people: Ema bo o! Let's talk! What do you think of this thread for people that can speak yoruba but maybe don't know it very very well? Like me for example, I can speak it but Jesus Christ if you hear my accent ... You would think I'm an oyinbo, if not for my skin color. So anyone who knows the language perfectly: Coming o! Words, phrases and greetings, anything would help! Also don't mind knowing from what part of yoruba land you come from: I'm from Ogere remo in ogun State, only from my father's part and for the fact that I was born outside Nigeria, detarmines my poor yoruba (accent and some phrases) Also if you want to talk about you favourite yoruba dish, that's welcomed also!  |
