An Igbo Man Said... by ashson(op): 9:34am On Oct 09, 2014
An ‪#Igbo ‬man said, "I don't really know the reason why we Igbos are hardcore supporters of GEJ even when it's obvious that he has failed everybody.

I have observed that Igbos defend GEJ even when his own people IJAW are condemning him. Have u forgotten the Nigeria governorship forum election in which Rotimi Amaechi got 19 votes while Jonah Jang got 16?...

GEJ refused to recognize Amaechi for reasons best known to him. Have u also forgotten the fuel subsidy?..were u not happy when u bought a litre of fuel for #65?

Just lately, the price of gas also increased. Are we not all suffering it? When Sanusi Lamido revealed the whole story about un-remitted oil money, GEJ sacked him and we Igbos were seriously calling Sanusi names just because he is a Northerner even though we knew that Sanusi was right...

TODAY, we all have to pay #65 for withdrawing from an ATM different from d banks we operate in.Nobody criticized the present CBN gov just because he is an Igbo man. Let me ask us, didn't we enjoy using ATM when Sanusi removed #100 charge?

When he became President some of u were rejoicing that finally a lecturer, teacher and PhD holder is now a President but under his watch ASUU went on strike for 6 months, ASUP 10 months, COEASU 11 months the longest in history, which future of thousands of Nigerians youths were toyed with.

The most recent one is the $9.3m GEJ took to South African. Do u know that the money is up to 1 trillion naira? In this modern age, what will make someone to carry that amount of money from country to country... when did South Africa become experts in production of firearms...why didn't they go to Russia if they really wanted to buy fire arms. Another 1billion naira loan was approved to fight the same insurgency.

Coming.Coming down to Igbo land, what has GEJ done? Enugu to Onitsha road and Enugu to Port hartcourt roads are nothing to write home about. Just because the election is around the corner, he remembered 2nd Niger bridge.

Talking of Igbo presidency, an Igbo man cannot become a president under PDP in 2015. PDP use zoning pattern to pick dia presidential candidate, the zoning is between North and South and never among all the 6 geo political regions as many of us think. So what it implies is that after GEJ, the zoning will shift power to the North.

Just after 2011 elections, on 1st January 2012, GEJ announced the fuel subsidy, saying that he wanted to use the money to build refineries but up till now, Nigeria is still importing refined oil cos none of the refineries is working.

Keep sentiments apart and rate the present govt, u will see that GEJ has failed us. Let's vote him out.. " God bless u all.

Am not expecting any insult o because I believe there's no illiterate here but if there's any, let the person show himself.

op..i dnt knw why yu re angry abt jonathan our president..
fine, the president has not done up to 55% of what he said he wil do?but i stil believ wit patient he wil do all?
so yu want us to vote the president jonathan out abi? But if i may ask,do you have any eligible leader that yu can entrust on us?
Voting for jonathan the 2nd term is not a bad agenda to us but d constitution also allow him 4 2nd term if he decided to contest again.
i cannot deny and yu cannot shy away frm the truth that there is no changes in nigeria uhm cheesy
anyway if the igbos didnt become the president in 2019. How does that reduce the price of garri?
i strongly believe in God,bro whoeva wil be the president,if posible frm d igboland,no one,i repeat no one wil stop him frm gettin the ticket.
but i pray 4 the president that wil better the life of the greatest number of citizen in nigeria..
whether it comes frm west, east, south and north the most important thing is that an africa black man is ruling/leading nigeria cool
i remain faithful to the entire igboland

And as an alternative, we should vote in APC or Buhari cheesy

No thanks cool GEJ continues, as long as APC is the only alternative. And as long as it spites you apc guys, we will continue to support him.

On a serious note sha, list his achievements side by side with that of previous presidents and if you're sincere to yourself, you'd know he's done far better than the rest tongue

And stop trying to appeal to emotions, express yourself and quit using that your "an igbo man said bulllshiit. Thank you

If GEJ enter anywhere after 2015 Gen. Election, am sure its gonna be either his House or Alagbon prison. He better use the remaining time he has to refurbish all the prison. My #1kobo grin grin grin

Let me help with this. It is partly about the Federation Account. Before money can be withdrawn from that Account, the National Executive Council will have to approve it. The NGF had a good number of members. So whenever Jonathan want to withdraw money, the governors will insist some of it is sent to States.

So to keep getting cash while the NGF was being destroyed - NNPC stopped remitting money.
