Hello fellow nairalanders..I used to be very excited about going to nysc camp..infact my joy knew no bounds the very first day I saw my name on the mobilisation list but recently I just discovered that as the date nov 4th draws closer..I get more scared..don't know if fear is the right word to use..the thought of staying a whole 3weeks in another land and far from people am used to alone makes me sick..moreso..I'v heard a lot about thisnysc stuffs..I just think its a very sensitive time and I really really want to make a meaningful thing out of it..umm..all the same I only want to know from people who re done serving or re currently serving;THis THINGS I FEEL,ARE THEY NORMAL?did u feel the same way too during ur own time..please matured answers re needed..thanks a lot guys..

U spoke somany peoples mind. Well said, its quite normal for humans to get nervous exspecially when venturing into something that will either contribute to or change your life NYSC jst one of those things. It can impact your life in a negative or positive way, and likewise me I thinks about the people I'll meet in camp, what do I expect in came, and so on. But I think its going to be a wonderful experience, so just be your self.

Girl it's not fear. you're just nervous. Believe me, it happens to even those muscular guys you see especially when you've never been too far away from home all your life.

I think we should call it fear of the unknown, its normal, its a phase especially when you dont control over whats gonna happen next, my own method is just to say a little prayer that 'GOD, LET ME BE CARRIER OF YOUR PRESENCE ANY WHERE I GO'. Its well my dear, see you Nov. 4th

Lol...I know. Talking from experience. If there is anything like stream II because of boko haram, relocating will be quite possible. But if there is nothing like stream and you are posted to far north...oparri ooo na dir you go serve ooo. That's why I said prepare for the worst thing to happen and pray for options
