But I guess it works for them. On frequently visited forums such as NairaLand, being odd (and deliberately controversial) draws attention and , by extension, a measure of recognition. And deep down I guess that's why we really socialize: To be recognized and given attention. Psychologically it induces a feel-good effect on us.
