What Are The Criteria Used To Select World's Best Football Player? by SAfrica201(op): 5:25pm On Jul 03, 2010
Fellow Sports Nairalanders, I think the time has come for all soccer buffs around the World to rise up and challenge the criteria used to select the World's best footballer? How can the so-called World's best player play with his team and not score for 450 mins and at the end of the day gets bundled out 4 - 0!
It is very embarrassing even to FIFA that named Messi the World's best player!

Even Roger Milla, at 38 yrs old, in Italia '90 came from the bench to score 5 goals, which till date remains the highest number of goals ever scored by an African in the World Cup.

So, this has thrown up this topic / thread - What really are the criteria used to select the World's best player?
