For those that pay keen interest to states' news across the states, they will notice that the government houses in some states have popular names used to refer to them.
These are some of the states and the names of their government houses:
1. Rivers State - Brick House.
2. Bayelsa State - Creek House.
3. Kaduna State - Kashim House.
4. Imo State - Douglas House.
5. Enugu State - Lion House.
6. Ondo State - Alagbaka House.
7. Kogi State - Lugard House.

If you know others, add them.
My question, what is the brain behind these names? That of Kogi State in Lokoja, Lugard House, is understood. The official residence of Sir Lord Lugard is in the premises of the Government House of Kogi State.
