science is how man try makes sense of what he has seen in a logical manner, while religion is how man has tried to make sense of what he has also seen in an illogical manner

no my friend. Religion has to do with what you can't see with your physical eyes. It takes faith, patience and diligence to discover such mysteries

Scientists had to pay lip service to religion for fear of death (in many cases).

People will continue to make gods to worship regardless of whether we get rid of the older religions that now plague our planet. They may not be like the gods of old, in human form, most likely they will take the form of ideas.

Feminism is one example of a 21st century religion - it's like Zionism but with even less public debate as to its virtues and destructive qualities (and leadership).

...it will be terrible.
We would still be worshipping mountains & rivers...
We would still call smallpox a god ( sonponna) { yoruba people}...
We would have had men of 'god' like the 'unkillable ' Shekau & frauds like Oyedepo with Oritshejafor ruling over us....
...instead of going to the river to fish , we would have our hands clasped in prayer to god for him to give us fish!...

...how much of history do you know? Science had to fight religion to submission. It was no easy fight. Ask Keplar and Copernicus. Religion ----islam & christianity -----played some role, somehow in the advancement of civilization as a whole; agreed ; but when it comes to when the big decisions for human advancement were to be taken, science it was all the way!
