I have observed for long that many in the country do not know about projects going on around them. I remember discussing with someone back home about the land reclamation work ongoing in Lagos and the birth of a new city- Eko Atlantic City, the whole gist was foreign to him. How could someone be so much in the dark on such a big project going on in his backyard? I wondered. This brought me the idea of harvesting picture updates on some of Nigeria's biggest projects and no better place would be a fitting platform than the largest online forum in Africa- Nairaland.

This topic would thus help people back home and those of us in the diaspora to follow up on some interesting projects going on in the country.

I don't get it, is it the Light in Abuja case made it cheaper than Lagos considering it has a higher distance? Or Land was reclaimed in the former?

Bros, you forgot that these guys award 1KM road for 1 billion naira?

Its amazing to know that developmental works are ongoing in the country, but at the same time let the ones on ground be maintained building new ones are not always the issue but maintainance, won't be surprised to see these new ones in ruins 5 yrs after completion.
