Please i for the past few months i have been receiving text messages from 5033 that "my subscription to ratendate service has been automatically renewed" which i never subscribed to. Everyday they keep deducting my money for no reason. Please if you have a similar problem please help me find a way to unsubscribe from this plan. Nb: i have called and been to mtn customer care office and no solution. Please help. Actually it my friend that has d probs. And i told him Nairalanders no dey dull for answers thanks

Don't tell me you brought your problem to nairaland before MTN costumer care.

Must you continue using /recharging the line..... If you can't buy another network line, the port!!!

Send "Stop alert" to the number given in the text.

Then after that do the following.

1) Click the link on My Signature
2)When u get to the site click on the "Rate Brands Button"
3) Search till u find MTN
4) Click and the logo and fill the form
5) Submit your rating.

This rating helps Nigerian customers and the Organizations to improve on the quality of service rendered. Together, we can have a happy nation.
