hello. pls help me. my phone refused to download from play store. it kept on saying I had insufficient disk space. I backed up the apps on the device using titanium back up and then I factory reset the phone. The play store got fixed. The phone is rooted. But my problem now that is that I can't access messages. it keeps saying app not installed on phone. please help me n my new p4.

means no messaging.apk in your system partition (system/app)

when your playstore they wacko... bring the problem up here on NL ..not every problem on android can be solved by factory reset

use root explorer

go to system/app and check if there is "messaging.apk" or anything about messaging ....am not on stock ROM so I don't know the particular name

nothing like that. I checked by using the titanium backup but didn't see messaging.... saw it there some time back but didn't see it again ever since I reset the factory settings

Na rooting KitKat is my problem... None of the listed apps seems to work for me.. Can anybody help me please?

If u have cwm....boot into recovery

Wipe data
Wipe cache

Go to advanced
Wipe dalvik cache
Wipe battery stats

Then B back and

Choose install zip from sdcard

Then choose the ROM.zip file

After flashing
Phone cwill boot and will take up to five minutes

pls help I have done the cwm backup n restore but didn't Wipe the data, how do I locate the advance option

if you boot into recovery...use volume down to scroll down you will see it

u change imei... if yes ...check the imei well and check the APN(create a new one)

Ermm, i downloaded modern combat 4 and unrar all files, moved it to sdcard/android/obb, they said for the first time i should open with internet connection, i turned on my data and when i launched the game it said something about me needing to download additional data i clicked on yes and it immediately said that all files have successfully been downloaded and i should press yes to start playing but each time i press yes the game closes, please what could be the problem @swiss,did i do something incorrectly?

Are u sure it's CWM u flashed? if CWM, u should be able to see "advanced" at d bottom . It is stock recovery that won't have that option
