Hussain Ibrahim, the director general, Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC), Tuesday disclosed that Nigeria spends an outrageous sum of N165 billion annually on importation of fruit juice concentrates.
He made this known while presenting a paper at a workshop in Kaduna. Ibrahim further stated that importation of concentrates was negatively affecting the development of local fruits cultivation for juice processing.

Before considering the options you both provided which by the way are brilliant, the big question is can the concentrates be made in Nigeria? If not then things should be left ad they are.
