I know this will be very controversial, but I thinks the eastern region has the best footballers in Nigeria.

The list is endless..., kanu, keshi, oliseh, Christian chukwu, okwaraji...., etc

I think you need to sleep now, It's 4:26AM, but on a more serious note, every region are usually good at one thing or more....Am very sure no region can boast of swimming like the Niger Delta regions (those people are fish shocked

I think its the Southwest.
But in order of qualities I think its like this:
* Southwest
* Southeast
* Southsouth.

A lot of people derailing the thread already.

Back to the subject matter, I think the region that has produced the best footballers in Nigeria is obviously the 'South-Eastern part.

My opinion though!
